I just called and added that request to my ressie. The CM said that he would go ahead and replace my previous request with this one. I replied, "The Lobby request?" "Yes." I then politely asked him if I could have both noted on my ressie, and that if one had to supercede the other, I would prefer to have the Lobby view. But, if at all possible, I would like to have both requests noted; I also told him that I know that they are only requests. He said he had them both noted. I hope they both are!

Thanks, Beckie, for your help!

You already have your request for Inner Courtyard View, so request a Lobby room and this should cover it...not sure which if any rooms have bunk beds...Sorry...Betsy may know but she is visitng WDW now. She should be back next week maybe she will read and post you an answer or another Vet may know.

...right now. In fact, if you look on the "Humphery's Home..." thread, you can she that she already posted a pic from the CR....::yes::

I booked a woods view room and told the CM I would like the MK side. He said he noted it. When I received my confirmation in the mail, it just says woods view. Do they usually put all of your requests on the confirmation letter or is that info only in their system. Should I call back and check to see if my request is on there? My DD7 would really like to see the castle and with my DS2 a view of wishes wouldn't be bad either. Also, if I don't get a room on this side, is there anywhere from WL that you can see wishes? Thanks, this is our first trip to WL. I hope we love it as much as everyone else seems to.

No...they do not note requests on the confirmation..unless it is a non-smoking room.
I WOULD call again later and check to make sure that it was in fact notated on your reservation that you wanted the MK side...I have asked things to be noted on the reservation and called later and it was not on the reservation.
Never hurts to double check..here is the toll free # 877-939-3732

That is so cute. Do you know if any of those rooms have bunkbeds? If I request a bear face room will they know what I am talking about? Or should I just ask for an inner courtyard room? evertime I see a picture of the WL I get so excited. We have never stayed at a WDW resort as a family before. I can't wait for my kids to see the waterfalls and all of the other great things.
Thanks!

I don't think the Bear Face Rooms have bunkbeds. I believe they are all Queens...
When I went last Feb, I asked the CRO to notate my reservation with the room request "Bear Face Room"...the CRO had no idea what I was talking about, but made the notation. When I checked it...I pointed at the rooms that I wanted and got it.

Room 4067

HI Disneydmbnut,
A while back I jotted down a room number that you stayed in room # 2113. I also have room recomendations for rooms 4165 and 5149. These are bunk rooms. Is it nice to be on the first floor or will it be quieter the higher we go? We will be with our 3 and 5 yr old kids.
How was your CR stay?
Tara

Let me first say I have NEVER had a bad room at WL...#2113 was really great because I never had to get in an elevator and it was very close to the busses and also just across the creek from Roaring Forks and the boat ( if you use the back door that goes from that side under the "cave")
I think #4065 is facing MK??? I am not sure.
If you are worried about Courtyard noise, I have never heard any, but I have never been near the pool...I think you will really like 2113...It was really nice!

Thank you for the info. I think that I might request that room. Do people usually request certain room numbers? That did have bunk beds...right?
Tara

...wish I could be stayin' at WL.....guess I'll just have to SUFFER at AKL!;)

This is such an awesome thread! We became addicted to WL after just one step into the lobby this past September. We're aching to go back already and will be there in January.

Now I know why you all are WL Addicts!

Okay we leave tomorrow. Whoopie! What's the latest on the fridge situation at WL? Are they in all the rooms? Do you have to ask? What's the latest news? Thanks!

Good question on the fridge. I'd love to know. Is there anyone who has just come back from WL? I'd like to know how that direct bus to MK is working out?

It's my understanding that they are available to you for free but you may have to ask for them at checkin or once you get to your room.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! If you're so WDW and WL obsessed that you're actually reading the DIS on Thanksgiving Day (I know, I just described myself :hyper: ), you might feel like giving someone something to be thankful for ;).

This DISer has a question about WL room conditions. You vets may want to set his/her mind at ease.
