Hooray..I just booked our trip for next year..with AAA discount..it was available for the CL level!! (about a $700 savings!) We'll be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary I debated between a junior suite and the CL..but decided we liked the extra goodies versus the bigger room Now..one can hope for free dining again

I loved hearing this. I'm so excited about the fact that we are staying CL in February. As soon as I read your posting, I ran to tell my husband.

I love this discussion thread. It gives me just a little something each day to read and get excited all over again about our trip.

My 180 day mark comes this week, so I can't wait to have all my dining wishes confirmed. I had my first e-mail from the IPO last week, and they have all our special requests ready.

A few week ago someone wanted to know if they had scales located @ the airline check-in stations at the resorts. (So that the return luggage might be weight before you arrived at the airport)

This week-end I visited the Airline Check-In at Wilderness Lodge and they did have a scale that can be used to weight your luggage.

Just wanted everyone to know.

Just a quick repost from a few pages back to see if anyone might know the answer - thanks!

I have a quick question for those in the know:

We are booked for WL Concierge this November, but I think for financial reasons we're going to downgrade to either courtyard or woods view. Here's my question - I would actually prefer woods view (if we can get it), but I can remember back when I first called months ago and booked courtyard, and requested a king room, I was told by CRO that standard and woods rooms didn't even have king beds, so it's a good thing I wanted courtyard. Anybody know if this is actually true? I'd like to book woods instead of courtyard, but only if king beds are available in woods view. Thanks!

I did check, thank you, though. It just says there are king rooms - doesn't really specify if they're only available in courtyard view.

Just curious to know when you're going. If the dates overlap then I want to tell my TA...."But, LisaRN from the DIS got her AAA discount for CL. Why can't I?"

On Sunday, I called the Disney travel office and asked for CAA discount (Canadian version of AAA) for Feb. 3-10th, and I was told there was no CAA discount listed for that time.

I booked mine on Sunday for August 17-27th, 2007. I called Disney directly though..not AAA or a travel agent. I booked room only. If a package comes out...like free dining..I'll switch..but I'll be happy with AAA

I'm so excited for you WL'ers. We would have liked to stay there in our upcoming trip, but the prices have gone up so much...especially when it's not value season. Are you guys saving saving, or do you have quite a bit of income money to spend on you WL packages?
