The New Tagliarchy! The Official Tag Fairy Fan Club!

I understand your pain! I have a 13 year old boy who has already been through puberty (voice is deeper than DH's) and has an atitude! 50% of the time, he is decent and kind to be around, then the other 50% of the time, I wonder why I worked so dang hard to have a family (infertility problems)!!!!!! I can't wait until DDs go through puberty.......

Hi Ohanafamily!

Thanks for the welcome. I think the tagilarchy is just fine as a tag fairy fan club. What tag fairy wouldn't love to have it's own fan club??? Not to mention the marketing possibilities..lol

Oh.. and I'm feeling kind of purple today :)

Morning all!

For all of you that have the preteen boys, it DOES get better. Have a boy turning 15 soon. He went thru "the stage" but is actually quite pleasant to be around now. Although he is still tough at times, A lot better then 12-13yrs!!

If I were to have a dream job at Disney, I'd be the choreographer for the shows. What fun!!

gotta run. Off to school :)!!!

have i ever mentioned that the tag fairy rox my sox!!!!?????:p :p

Good Morning :wave2: all. Got up early to workout - while ohanafamily stayed home and slept. Now I'm waiting for workmen, again. The floor's supposed to be finished today - grout the tile and put the carpet back in the closet. The wallpaper guy is also supposed to show up today to prep the walls. The painter finished up yesterday, putting in the final pieces of trip around the baseboards, although he'll have to come back to paint the new doors for under the bathtub (that the restoration company lost/threw out and now has to remake.) It's really going to be finished soon! :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks for breakfast Kismetdreams. It was yummy.

Good morning everyone! Huggabaloo is correct. A couple of towns just north of Syracuse (about 15-20 miles) are under a state of emergency. They got 4.5 feet of snow in 33 hours. Last I heard, their season total was 182 inches. If you have high speed internet, here is the video link. http://www.wtvh.com/story.asp?stid=7188

Okay, I've had a hard time concentrating on my work this morning, because I keeping thinking about where I'd like to work in the "world". I LOVE Fort Wilderness. Maybe I could be a groundskeeper there. Then again, I'd like to be around people having a really good time. Maybe I should put on a dierndel and start working the tap at the Germany pavillion. I can speak a little German. ::yes::

Then again, driving a monorail sounds like fun. Yikes, I can't decide.

I've always wanted to work at the Magic Kingdom as a character. Just walking into a park in costume, posing for pictures, smiling, waving, making folks have fun. How great would that be???!

Hi Prince Charming! I thought you already did that?

How are things in New Yawk? I heard you guys got some snow this week.

Hi Barb! I didn't actually DO that, I just pretended during Halloween last year. It was a hoot, and really cemented my hidden desires!

And right now, NYC kinds bites. TOO cold and snow, snow, snow. It's pretty after the initial snowfall, then it's grey/black and gross.

Hi all,

MeanLaureen, Purple is great, but it has already been chosen by GAIL HAYDEN.

Feel free to join us in our discussions, we have even been known to reform some of the most devout "Meanies"

BTW, In case it isn't obvious, we all really apreciate the job that you Moderators do. (Thanks)

Kismetdreams, thanks for the breakfast...

RickinNYC, I am so very glad I live where "Cold" means around 40 degrees.

Bichon Barb, I know who would be your best customer...even though he is underage...

Speaking of which, The Chocolate Truck made a delivery to him yesterday...Pics to follow...I think Nephosaurus wants to post them himself.....

CourtasanSatine, any time you are ready...The thread starts getting a little slow around page 120, and at around 150 MISS Dis-Board Deity :) or one of her friends will turn the lights out for us.

Oh well, gotta get back to work!!!!!

Hi everybody, sorry I'm late.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_3_110.gif' border=0></a> Got here as soon as I could. Snow day<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_19.gif' border=0></a> for both kids AND it's DH's birthday<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/301.gif' border=0></a>. It's like 10 degrees and below 0 with the wind chill, and we got a couple inches of snow so since it is his birthday, I gave DH the day off.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_7_5.gif' border=0></a>

I just have a quick minute to say I'm not really exactly 100% sure what's up with the TAG FAIRY. I haven't had the time to thoroughly read through the last few pages. Do we need to consider a re-organization of our little group as we move to our new home? Do we have to stop clapping constantly, stop serving up so much chocolate, what?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_14_3.gif' border=0></a>

Welcome MeanLaureen!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15_1_70.gif' border=0></a> I see your name alot on the CB, you don't seem that mean, why have you branded yourself with such a title? Anyway, I'm kind of mean sometimes too, just ask my kids and my DH. And Deadheadbelle. Just try to make a noise after I've gone to bed for the night if you want to see mean.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_103.gif' border=0></a> Right DHB?

Well, I've done it folks. I have come full circle, I am complete. A moderator on the DB thinks I have a disturbed sense of humor. He actually thinks my cartoon moonies are more objectionable than ANYTHING I could find on the DB?!?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_103.gif' border=0></a> I will quote him now -

"If you find posts you find objectionable because of their content on the DB- or any board- you should use the "Report This Post" feature. Please let me know what things you have found on the DB more objectionable than your explicit graphics. I find your definition of "cute" a little disturbing."

After I picked myself up off the floor and got my belly-laughing under control,<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_205.gif' border=0></a> I responded with "Come on now, really? Cartoon moonies? Even human butts usually only receive a PG rating". So I have kind of my own personal debate going via e-mail with a moderator. Wonderful, I don't even go to the DB and still I find myself locked in debate. What to do?........

Well, I have kids to feed, this will just have to be a problem for another day. In the meantime I'm open to suggestions and opinions as to the state of my sense of humor. I've been kicked around and beaten up on so much lately, nothing you say will bother me much at this point. Hit me with your best shot!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_114.gif' border=0></a>

I'm probably leaving the office in less than hour, so I just wanted to say (sniff sniff) that I'll miss you guys. (sniff sniff) I'm not putting any money on DH fixing the computer this weekend. We got infested with pop ups so badly that our internet connection was shutting down. Rob tried to take care of it but ended up bringing it to a 'puter person. Well he got it home and says that Internet Explorer isn't working properly--something to do with the software that was installed.

Go Patriots! (Actually, I could care less about the Super Bowl, but I WILL be watching the SU game Saturday night!)

Being from a family of Buttologists, I can say that there is nothing disturbing about the human glutius maximus (sp?).

Just last night my 10 year old pulled his pajama bottoms halfway down his buttocks, crouched down and declared "Look Mom! I'm a plumber!" His imagination is such a thing of beauty! Sighhhhh.

In the summer, the offspring have been known to pull their bathing trunks down to their thighs so that they are able to pick up more speed on the kiddie pool's slide. I weep when at the thought of the creativity of this future generation. Sighhhhh.

Thanks a lot Bichon Barb. You've got me laughing so hard I'm crying now.

Was trinken Sie Bichon Barb? Bitte ein Bitt? Do you know how to say "butt" in German?? hmmm I'm sure I used to know...

Hey RickinNYC, when are you , Joe and the 25 of your closest and dearest friends hmmm hmmm,:) going to Dallas? What a great trip!!

Heres a poll for everyone...

What is the last thing you've won?

No kidding, mine was a trip to Spain but I traded it in for a trip to England so my mom could come with me. -that was our last trip together before she passed away. Glad we did it. and before that "An Evening with John Denver" album-ok I was a tot when I won that !! hehehe

Welcome MeanLaureen are you really mean??? or is that just a pet name!!:)

Oh my gosh llebrekniT do you suppose I will get in trouble too because I posted a bus full of "moonies" w/o seatbelts on?????

Anyone hear from Lewski709? Back from the world yet?? How about Tigger Fans!? Whooo hooo oli oli oxen free free free

I'm back, but only for a moment.

BichonBarb I knew you would be on my side. I remembered that you like moonies too. I would post a cute moonie just for you now, but I'm still waiting notification as to what is considered objectionable. If I go by what the mod at the DB thinks, cartoon moonies are explicit and disturbing, not cute.

To answer Cheeringmom's question, the last thing I can remember winning was a talking Barney stuffed animal, that was about 10 years ago. I think I'm due to win something. Oh, occasionally we'll win a free 20 oz. Coke from one of those bottle tops. That's about it.

Thanks for the advice Geffric and Cheeringmom. Daniel is already exhibiting much 'tude. Some of the time I don't know how I'm going to live with him for the next few years. Most of the time he's normal, but when he gets in one of his moods, look out. The smart mouth is the hardest part for me. Even if he is already doing what I told him to do, he still has to pop-off at me.

Gotta run!

I seem to win free cokes on various games and the occasional 5 bucks on lotto

Good Afternoon everyone!!

Well, llebrekniT is not kidding around. She can be rather mean, & quite scary if she is trying to sleep & you are talking in the next room. She seems to think everyone should just go to bed at 9:00pm while on vacation in WDW! Is she nuts? That's when we can finally sit down & drink a beer.

As llebrekniT said, we got about 3 inches of snow last night & it is really cold outside! Going to my mom's house tonight for January birthday dinners....good news....Nancy-pants is not, I repeat NOT, coming!!!! Apparently, hellion # 3 (Brock) is not feeling well so they will be staying home!! Bad news, though, is that my brother Don is leaving the loudest 2 hellions at my mom & dads for the night so he can "hang out" with some friends....he is 40 years old! Can't he, for one weekend, just spend the weekend at home??? The craziest thing about Don & Nancy-pants is that you would think they got the partying out of their systems. They married after they both had finished college (lots of partying in college). They didn't start having kids until they had been married 7 years (more years to party). Whatever...I'm just glad we won't have to deal with Nancy-pants tonight.

Let's see, have I ever won anything? Not that I can think of. My husband won a contest at work & we went to London for a week in 2002. That was pretty cool.

I guess I haven't answered llebrekniT's question, ideal job at WDW? Umm, I dunno....Quality Control for margaritas at San Angel Inn? I wouldn't want anyone getting a bad margarita. I bartended for 3 years while in college at a Tex-Mex restaurant, so I have qualifications.

Ok, I know I started this, but here we go. I don't ever go to bed at 9:00, especially not on vacation. I do, however, go to bed almost every night of my life between 10:00 and 11:00, usually the latter on vacation. Once I fall asleep and get woken up, I can't seem to recover from it and return to sleep. It's a personal problem I know, but when I also know that someone's kid is going to get up at the crack of dawn and start shouting "GRINCH, GRINCH, SANTA BUH-BYE!!!", it especially bothers me to be woken up.

I brought by some snacks for everyone - I was inspired by RRBB. Just a note FYI, when we go to a buffet, I view the dessert area the same as the entree area, you try a little bit of everything. This dessert plate was assembled, by me-onesy, at Chef Mickey's. (Before we got sick).
Enjoy!
