You know what I just realized? Now that I've added a day by accident (long story) my DS doesn't have enough days on his hopper! What do I do about that, I wonder...

If you go to guest services at the Lodge, you can turn the pass in for credit for an upgrade! A few years ago, we had 3 days left on DDs pass, we brought it to guest services...and paid the difference for a 5 day pass!

AspiringCindy--Wonderful! I'm glad to know this can be fixed. Glad I figured it out before we used his pass.

I have a question, aesalsa, isn't it time to go yet?:p

I think I am asking that more that my children!! Though they don't know I've made the reservations -- hee, hee.

Weeee, up the posting line we go!

Hi, me again.

Does anyone know the hours for Buttons and Bells? I know it's not a great arcade, but DS doesn't care...

Good morning, errrrrrr afternoon to you to Erika!

I am just checking the DIS for my daily Disney info fix. I feel like I will miss something if I don't log on every single day.Well, okay, its more like several times a day but who is counting?? :teacher:

I was just trying to tell my DH how I am now compiling a transportation how-to list so that we can get to all our destinations from WL without confusion.BUT,he is more interested in the Nascar Race. How can that possibly be?

~Chris

babybunrab,

I checked my Silver Creek Star and it didn't have the hours of operation listed, but it was always open then we passed by it, there isn't any personnel there so it probably is opened until midnight.

hhender102-- I WISH :p!! You must be almost bursting---keeping such a big secret from the little ones ;).

TooBoyz4us-- I come here to the DIS, like, at least 8 times a day :p; is that going over-board? I, too, don't want to miss anything. And I love coming to "see" everyone on this thread :grouphug:--new and established.

I am also trying to get a transportation plan together to get from WL to everywhere alse--thanks to Magic/Beckie, I have a great start!

:wave2:

Erika-I got a Passporter yesterday and armed with that and Magic's advice there's no way to go wrong. The maps in the Passporter are quite good (I've printed out her advice and stuck it in the Disney Box--I tell myself it's not ACTUALLY packing). I'm forever taking the longest distance between two points... not this time! I know I get maps when I check in, but I'd rather know well ahead of time where I'm going.

Magic-Thanks again! DS would love to hit the arcade, I'm sure, while I'm getting food together at Roaring Forks. We've been saving quarters.

And a question... Has anyone done the campfire at Fort Wilderness? Thoughts? I've never done it, but I love s'mores and movies.

Well, I'm back into lurking mode for the schoolweek (I'm taking a class this summer, so not posting keeps me able to focus on writing papers rather than posting)! Talk to you all when I come out of Stealth Mode next weekend.

Hope everyone has a 'Magical' week!:wizard:

Sarah

babybunrab/Sarah-- "See" you next weekend. Good luck with those papers!

I'm also interested in the campfire--it seems like a wonderful way to spend an evening. Does anybody have any first-hand experience with that who would be willing to share some details and tips?

:wave2:

babybunrab, you are soooo good. I am in three summer classes right now and have two tests and a paper due tomorrow. Everytime I get the kiddies settled down and come to my computer to work on my paper, I find myself coming to the boards!! I am soooo naughty. It is going to be a late night because of it...oh, well. I tell myself this, but I am so excited and really enjoy reading all the posts.

Well, it's off to my paper now :(

Honest!!

What kind of classes is every taking! I too am taking a graduate class in "Reading and Literacy"!

See, AspiringCindy, here I still am!! But I saw a great code on www.mousesavers.com (which is where I went when I logged off here) for military personnel, so I HAD to come back and post it, and now I have been lurcking...:p

Right now I am taking Env. Science, Spanish, and Ethics. I am working on a BA in English and Writing, then I will go on for my teaching cert. Second career for me...was a court reporter, but hurt my wrist and had to go back to school. I am trying to cram the double major in to 2 and a half years, so I have been taking 18 credits a semester, 9 during summers...ugh! almost done...I graduate in Dec. My BF is taking me on a cruise for my graduation, but I can't wait till we all go back to WDW in Feb!!

The kids sooooo deserve some one-on-one time with me (and Mickey!!). Between work and school....well, you know.

Are you working on your master's of ed?

Speaking of school, I better get writing that paper!!

Yeah! I am working on my Master's of Ed with a certification in Reading! I am already a certified teacher and am always looking for ways to better serve my students! I teach Reading and Spanish...so if you need any help with your Spanish class, just give a holler!

Good for you!! Kudos! And I will definitely take you up on that Spanish lesson ;) It's going far better than I expected...had nightmares about it because I have never taken a foreign lang. class -- not even in high school which is eons ago!

What grade do you teach?

Gotta run, b/c if I didn't mention it ;) I need to make myself write this paper!

Hi, everybody! I just called and added a day to our res., we'll be spending 4 days of our trip at WL now, instead of 3!! So excited! My question is this:

We are staying on the concierge level, and I asked IPO if they could add to my file that we would like to be near the "lounge" (knowing there is no lounge, per se) and the elevator, if there are such rooms. They emailed back and said there are, and they've noted it in my file. I don't have anything other than "non-smoking" listed on my CRO res. I want to add something, so that when they download my res. to the Lodge, they will not have to look up my request.

Does anybody know anything about the rooms in this area, what kind of view, how noisy, etc. I asked for this area, as I have a bad ankle and as the trip wears on, it starts to swell and I need to save steps wherever possible. But, if you have a suggestion that is not too far down a hallway, I'd like to hear it!:teeth:

Thanks for your help, I love your thread, read it often!! :wave2:
