Ya'll sure have been chatty! I logged on this morning to find 4 pages of new messages!

HughJackman'n'me & MAGIC......you two are cracking me up!Thanks for the smiles so early this morning.

I have another :boat: question :
I remember taking a boat from the MK to the Polynesian for dinner. Now what boat is that, and what color is its flag????

So, in order to go to the Poly for 'Ohanas::::::we need to either boat over to MK and transfer to the Poly boat OR blue flag boat over to CR from WL and monorial over to Poly, CORRECT???

btw--just incase anyone is wondering WHY I am up so early. We got a new puppy yesterday!!!
I have some cute pictures to share if someone can explain to me how to get one here in my post?
Do I nned to upload it to a webpage somewhere first?Or is there there a way to do it directly from my pc?

Morning Chris...

::yes:: Yes you were up early...Sorry for the off topic chatter but some times a girls fancy turns to other things :p
OK back to the questions...The Polynesian and Grand Floridian also have small boats that connect the two resorts but this small boat also visits the Magic Kingdom. So you could ride the large Green Flag Boat to the MK from WL then transfere to one of the Poly, Grand Floridan small boats back over to either Resort.

Or you could catch a Blue Flag boat from WL to the CR then ride the Resort Monarail around to the Poly

However...I feel the most direct way to reach the Poly is to ride the Inter-Resort Bus from WL to the TTC then walk to the Poly or catch the Resort Monorail from TTC to the the Poly...walking would be faster.

Congrats on your new fur ball...

Yes you will have to post the photo on a website then transfer it from there once you have the http address. If someone else has a faster way maybe they will share...I was using the DIS Photo Gallery but they where have problems, so I changed to another site.

You are too kind, thanks for the compliment!!! I just got back from the beach and read your trip report. I always like to see other people's perspectives. We didn't notice the kids at the pool, but then again we didn't spend a whole lot of time there with our little guy. But, I sat on our patio quite a bit (which is why the repetitive, but relaxing music, drove me nuts) and I heard the lifeguards yelling every other minute for kids to STOP RUNNING!!!

My husband hit his shin, and I stubbed my toe on the beds...that gave me a good laugh when I saw the other posts about this. We loved the rain and thunderstorms, it cooled things off very nicely...though we missed Wishes because we couldn't keep our little man with a cold out in the rain.

Would you believe I sat on the beach, wishing I were back at WL? I told DH we should have spent the week there instead of sqeezing in the beach time. There is just nothing to do at the beach with a 17 month old. He can only be in the sun so much....
anyway, I got the green light from DH to book Labor Day at WL instead of going to the beach with his family as we had planned! WOO HOO!!!!!! Now I just have to wait for the September codes to come out - but can't I make the ressie and when the codes come out get the discount? I have never done that....

Have a great weekend everyone...

Good morning all,

I have a question. Do the 6th floor rooms in the outer wings have vaulted ceilings? Thanks. :D

Hi!

Not from what I recall.

 Hi back at ya.

Another question: Does anyone know what the room numbers are for the deluxe suites that are at the far end of the Southwing that face directly to the lake? I know there are four rooms (at least I think there are). Thanks. :D

We are going to the WL for the first time in about two weeks with our 3yo and our 9mo old. I would like for it to be as magical as possible so we are going concierge. Are concierge rooms automatically deluxe? Also, are there any rooms in particular we should try to request? We have the baby so we will need a crib/pack n play so as much room as possible would be nice since that will probably cramp things some. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Christie,

Maybe I can help a little. WL Concierge has standard sized rooms, 340 sq. ft. I am not sure if they have deluxe rooms. Majestic would probably know that one. I look to him as the "king of concierge". The rooms have either 2 queen beds, 1 king (the kings are mostly handicap accessible), or 1 queen and bunk beds.

If I may, it might be good for you to ask for a room with 1 queen and bunk beds. Therefore, your 3yr old could have the bottom bunk and there might be a little more room for a crib.

I hope this helps. If I got anything mixed up, someone will help out and let us know. :D

That's what we did. We booked our ressies and then realized we could use our AAA membership to get a small discount. Called CRO and changed to AAA. Now we are patiently ( ) waiting for a room only code to come out for September.

How did your little guy do on the rides. Our DD will be 17 mos when we go in September. Although the trip is "mostly" for her brother (age 4) she actually seems to be our little daredevil - we are thinking that she may even enjoy the rides more than DS.
