The NEW Official November 2010 Countdown & Planning Thread ~ Come join us! (Part 2)

YEAH!!!! We are going on Thursday the 11th.... Maggie was able to get us tickets with her cast member discount!!!! I had some t-shirts made and they arrived today....

I went to this a few years ago... it is amazing to see it snow on Main St....

Wow..castmember discount must have been great!! I got the little DVC discount of 10$ per ticket

Double Ditto-This Oregon girl does not pump gas!!

When I was little I use to say the only other place I'd move is Oregon because of that.

When my mom - also born and raised in NJ moved to SC one of the first things she told me was if there was ever a vote to remove full-service to vote no - she hated pumping gas!

I really don't get the whole "pump it yourself" deal.... the gas isn't any cheaper (at least between Oregon and Washington prices) and you end up smelling like gas....
 YUCK

8 days till we check in..We drive down from indiana. I also drive for a living and drive the whole way down,as the wife hates driving on the interstates:drive: That being said,I am kinda impatient so when I want to go I want to go and not wait on buses,so we always drive when we are there

When Connecticut went to the pump your own gas I got so upset the first time I went to do it, I locked my keys in my car at the pump, it was about 6:30 am and I had a lot of angry commuters mad at me, luckily a police officer came by and opened my car, I hated pumping gas too but unfortunately in Ct the full service stations were few and far between.

:confused3 Duh, I get it now. I didn't realize full service stations were common anywhere any more. You can find them in PA, but only attached to a garage, not a stand alone pumping station.

Are you doing MVMCP? If so, when? And is this your first time?

Yep, 11-11 :santa: We were there on 11-11-08 :santa: Cookies & hot chocolate - looking at the forecast, we'll need the hot chocolate :goodvibes

11/16 for us! First time!

We are not doing MVMCP. I wanted to, but DH thinks (and I agree) that the kids won't make it that late at night to get our money's worth. We are all really early risers, and tend to go to bed early. The kids get pretty grumpy if they stay up very late because they still will wake up early, even when we want to sleep in!:upsidedow I will just get to enjoy reading about all of the great things you all get to do and see! I hope to one year get to do it.

20 Days to go!!!! Tomorrow we will be in the teens!!!

We have done MVMCP the last 2 years, but we are getting in too late on the 19th to make it worthwile and that is the only date during our trip.

QOTD- No, we aren't. We did it in 2002, the prices were cheaper and 2 kids were kids and 1 was free. Now the prices are higher, 2 kids are adults and one is a kid, we just can't afford it. Thankfully we still get to see the decorations and Castle Lights!

11/16 for us! First time!

We'll be there November 11th. It's our first time going and we're excited! Even making some shirts that are red and white (for me) and green and white (for girly!roommate).. which I need to work on today

I also woke up to a "nightmare" that the car we're getting to pick us up for the airport came before I was packed :scared1:

11/16 for us! First time!

This makes me sad. :sad2::sad1: as it was one of the things I was hoping to go to during this trip. Originally we had booked the week after Thanksgiving but DS's mom wont let us take him out of school, so Thanksgiving week it is.

No worries though, I do agree with her about not being out two weeks straight and all that.

So no we aren't going as there isn't one during our stay. If there was, or they decide to do ... (NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!) we'd be all over it. LOL:woohoo:

In one week I should be in the Future World of Epcot, taste buds salivating for the Food and Wine Fest!!

I went to the page, and I could not find your picture. I saw a friend of mine that I had already "liked" yesterday... but where is yours?:confused3

Last night I tryed to get the coffee lady to Like my pumpkin too and it wasn't there. don't know.I have 22 likes so far hope it is enough til monday.:cheer2:
