Does anyone know what the limit is to charge back in a moderate, we usually stay deluxe... but we stayed in a moderate on our first visit ... and this is our 20th trip and we wanted to go back to where it all started for us, we have not stayed in POR for 10 years. Thanks

I believe it's $500, and then you can get it extended from there. Oh, I can't remember - UGH!! Hopefully some one with more confidence in there thoughts will post soon ....

Thank you everyone for your concern. SJS I made an appointment with a new cardiologist on Tuesday (my old cardiologist Dr. Singh was in Maryland, the adjacent state, nearly 30 years ago... he's probably retired). Summerlady, I have mitral valve prolapse... That was diagnosed when I was 18. I vigilantly limit my caffeine. One cup of coffee in the morning and that's my limit. If I have coffee in the morning, then no caffeinated anything the rest of the day. I'm already on a low-fat, low salt diet and I exercise regularly... but we shall see what he says. Back in the mid 80's a cardiologist put me on Inderall. I was on that a couple years, but another doctor took me off of it and I'd been fine since. I did better off it than on. It limited my ability to exercise.

I am having a hard time keeping up with all your postings. we're a chatty lot!

I still have to get a ticket on Magic Express for my son Max. He'll arrive at the MCO by car! but then I won't have to leave DHS right after Fantasmic to pick him up at his college.

I decided I didn't like the menu at Hacienda, so I abandoned that. I still want to get Kona Cafe and T Rex. I might not make ADRs at T Rex because I've never had a problem walking up there. Its not like there isn't stuff to occupy your wait. I'm thinking of where to try for Sunday Nov 21st, our first EPCOT day. Maybe Via, maybe Marrakesh... I'll see what's available if anything.

We're driving down, so will have a car, so not sure. Last time we drove down we mixed it up depending on which parks we were going to and how many times we planned to hop that day. We had a really fun experience... on the bus back to ASMo from MK one night, everyone on the bus was singing! Nothing like an impromptu 50 person choir singing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!"

We always take the buses. My husband drives for a living so for him vacation is leaving it to someone else. Now this is our first trip with a toddler and a stroller so it will be interesting!

We always use Disney transportation -- Love it!!

One week from today we will be arriving in Orlando. Hard to believe!
My DS got cut off the 7th grade basketball team after 3 days of tryouts yesterday. I know in the grand scheme of things it is such a SMALL issue but boy was it hard to be a Mom yesterday and see his face fall as he realized his name wasn't on the list. Hopefully Disney will cheer him up fast!
My other DS is having a CT before we leave next week. He has some hearing problems that thus far have been helped by the several sets of tubes he has had placed. However, his hearing is failing again, this time more noticably to us so his ENT wants a CT just to check things out. I'm praying that will go well and there are no issues beyond his eardrums.

I'm sorry about your DS and the basketball thing. It's so hard to see your child disappointed. Hopefully Disney will cheer him up!

Guess what everyone... I just had to share. I made my first dining reservation using the Online system! I'm a people person, so I was skeptical ... but it worked. I asked for 6:00pm, it didn't have that but suggested 6:45 for my party of 6! Woo hooo.... that' so fine. On Nov 22nd, at 6:45 we've got Kona Cafe.... a first time for us all. coconut almond chicken... you will be mine!!!

YEAH!!!! We are going on Thursday the 11th.... Maggie was able to get us tickets with her cast member discount!!!! I had some t-shirts made and they arrived today....

My boys really want me to do pick a pearl this trip (I think they really want to do it themselves, but think it's too girly). I ordered one of the carraige cages for my pearl through the link posted on ebay and it came and is so cute! I may not ever wear it besides Disney, but since it was only $5 with shipping I figure that was OK.

QOTD: We nearly always take the buses and/or boats. DH likes the luxury of not driving. We'll be at SSR for most of the week, so if we head to DTD, we'll likely walk or take the boat. Remembering that in Nov you need a jacket on the boat! brrr I haven't scheduled any early morning CB's so that won't need to be a factor. We might drive though, if we do a rope drop. It might be easier.

Sometimes we drive to where we're going. We've driven around there enough to be familiar with the roads. I have a pretty good picture of the map in my head, and DH has a Garmin. Trip before last, my son deliberately chose not to bring his ashtma/allergy meds and then had an allergy attack at the EPCOT Flower & Garden show.. who would have thunk it!! So we ended up driving to a Walgreens because the CVS which has his prescription in their computer was out of the Singulair and transferred it to a Walgreens for us, unfortunately not the closest one... we must have passed 4 Walgreens on the way to this one. When we stay DVC we also drive up Apopka-Vineland Road to the Winn-Dixie to get groceries.

I have a very small 8 year old. We ended up renting a stroller in August because it was so darned hot and she just couldn't make it as far as normal. This time I'm toying with the idea of bringing the stroller we bought a few years back at EPCOT at the WorldShowcase entrance shop. Its a nice stroller. If we don't need it, we can leave it in the van or villa. We'll have 3 people driving down in an 8 passenger van... we'll have lots of room. In fact, we might take the back seat out and leave it home.

And I love it when I visit New Jersey and they pump the gas for you... AND its the cheapest state to buy! On vacation DH pumps.

Well, there's my whole trip! Looks pretty good to me, but I'm still packing some jeans. Now, as long as Tropical Storm Tomas doesn't do anything stupid . . . I know, I know, Florida needs the rain. But how about if we get the rain at night and not in the form of a storm or, dare I say, hurricane?
