Hypothetically speaking, if someone gets their dates for free, and then they have to cancel out, since it is "non-refundable", what exactly do they have to pay? Are there fees or taxes?? Not that I am going to ever be lucky enough to even see that stupid video thing, but just in case....

They have to pay the taxes as income for starters and I think the T&C say you have to pay for 1 night(at real rate).

I know that must be frustrating but at least you got to play?? :) We had to endure Janice and Kevin and still they won't let us play! Seems those who get to see the video see it more than once and those of us who haven't seen it at all will still be shut out! :sad:

I don't know why I would have to pay any taxes as income. There's no way for them to do that. They don't have my SS# and they are not going to get it either.

My confirmation says that if I cancel within 5 days of the trip I have to pay a fee of one nights rate. We will know long before then if we are going or not so I don't foresee any problems.

Has anyone booked with their paypal card? The one form your account NOT the Credit card

They originally were making it $1.00 a night and you pay taxes but they decided to make it even better and give the nights away free and they will pick up the taxes. So based on what another poster said, if you cancel within 5 days you owe nothing. If you do cancel at the very last minute you owe one for one night. Two more days to try.

Can anyone sign into their account and actually go into their booking? I can sign in and it says I am logged in. But if I click My Account, it just goes right back t log in.
 
well, that's different... until now, it would always save my search information, even if it logged me out. now it's logging me out and not saving my search information.

I just booked this morning, and I can pull up my reservations when I click on my account. I haven't gotten a call from them yet.
