The New,New Hotel Thread-Yes, We're STILL Waiting

When I got in I never recieved a screen or pop up that said anything like the $1 sale is now on, so I don't know where that is coming from. I can't remember exactly what I was doing, just clicking different links or something. I may even have taken a little break (I'm at work) and went and clicked hotels or search on my city choice. I can't remember which. Instead of bringing the choice of hotels that it normally would it brought me to a screen with the video playing, no pop up, it was the same screen.

It started out saying my charges would be $7.00 (seven nights and $1), but as soon as I got my confirmation screen it said 0.00. My confirmation email also said $0.00.

I think I read on SD of someone who has actually already used their ressie over the past weekend and had no problems with it. I do not think it is a scam. Many people have called their resort/hotel and verified their ressie.

That's encouraging, although I'm not sure if it's good or bad for me since it makes me want to spend more time trying to get in on this deal.

Mine did. The authorization dropped off last week.

Have you confirmed your ressie with the hotel itself? Was your cc charged at all? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just trying to get all of the info. that I can, so I know what I'm getting into.

I have but I am waiting to hear if they are going to give me the $1 rate as they charged me even though I still had time left! They said my card has been charged, but I have been watching my account and nothing has happened yet.

I know. I logged off last night around 8 and vowed that I was done. THen this morning I pulled up the thread here to see what ended up happening last night. In the meantime I pulled up the LMT site just to peak and there was nothing so I closed it out. Then as I was catching up on this morning postings I read that someone had gotten through so I quickly opened it up and logged in. As soon as I put in the dates and hit search the screen switched to the video. I didn't get through. But since it seems to be different random times for random people I feel like I have more of a chance and i'm sucked back in. I"m not refreshing on their site though. I just randomly go over there every little bit and search around.

I know what your talking about, I had given up on it last night, then looked at this thread this morning and saw that several people were getting in on the deal. So I went to LMT, and had a chance watched the video, found my hotel put my info in and noticed that the dates were wrong in the booking. By the time I tried to change the dates my time was up. It's making me crazy I just want another chance and I'm not getting one. I see people that are happy, and I see all of the warnings by other people, all I do is get more and more confused, but I just can't stop. The prospect of a free room is much too alluring to me right now.

I was not refreshing. I took some advice I saw here. I logged in, did a search, and then I got busy doing something else on facebook, I went back about 15 min later researched and it started. We go a 4 star hotel in Cancun.
