Thank you both and to answer your question chrisp, the Contemporary Grounds is located in the lobby next to the doors that go out towards the convention center. So when you walk-in to the lobby you can't miss it.

Since we had to cancel our December trip, and as a Mother's Day present, my DH let me book a MK view at the CR on the Atrium Club lvl. Do all the rooms on that floor have a great view of the MK, or should we request a certain room? (and yes, I understand that even if we request something it is just a request, and getting it is just a happy bonus) The ressie is just for a room with two queen beds, so it's not a suite. TIA for any and all advice.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Saturday - Sunday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Not sure if this is posted somewhere or not.... we will be staying in the Tower and I was wondering where the closest laundy facility is. I heard that one of them is closed for construction. I assume there is somewhere to do some laundry???

My DH called and asked me a question that I had no clue how to answer. He is planning on us sitting on the balcony and drinking coffee while the DS's go off to sleep, like we did on our last trip when we stayed at the WL. He was wondering when they turn off the lights at the MK, or do they keep them on all night? He was just wondering if after a certain time if it would be dark and hard to make anything out.

So glad I found this thread. I've started wading trhough, but I just booked us today and our trip is in 3 WEEKS...YIKES!
I got one of those too-good-to-pass-up pin codes and I was shocked to find out that the Contemporary was available. garden wing, but still...

I am a little concerned about the grab and go/construction situation though...Are the choices very limited? (Keeping in mind I'm used to AKL where The Mara is fabulous!) Is there anywhere to sit and eat, or do you literally need to "grab and go" somewhere else carrying a bag or tray? It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures I've found so far. Do they have any hot breakfast or is it just yogurt/pastries?
Honestly, the no CS thing may even be a deal-breaker for me since I'll have a picky 4 year old with me and we normally eat breakfast at the resort...UGH! I'm stressing over this...I know - all of life's problems should be so huge

Any insight would be appreciated...

I went to bed every night and layed there and watch the castle change colors--always midnight or 1am or so. I always wondered when they turned off, but never caught them.

There was seating right near by. I'm not sure what they had for breakfast, but for lunch they had hot choices of pulled pork sandwich (huge and yummy) and flat bread pizza. I think they had hot dogs, too. You can always take the monorail over to the poly or Gf. We did to the poly a couple of times.

DVCNEWS.com has reported that DVC has file paper work with Orange County about BLT and similar items. They have links to the pdf's so you can read them. They only one that is really worth the time (and not a bunch of legal stuff) is "Exhibit A" which show some pretty interesting diagrams. AGAIN NO OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM DISNEY YET!!!! Enjoy
