I have not got a chance to ask about that because I forgot about it until you brought it up. However I am not sure if I can get a straight answer because every Cast Member I ask will claim they have no idea what is being built since that is what I have been told, so I will do the best I can.

I just asked the DVC Cast Member on the 4th floor about the pool and this is what I was told. Officially she has no idea what the building is going to be. However as an educated guess she would say regular Contemporary guests should be able to use the new pool, because it would be an amenity of the Resort which all guests can use.

Well, at least they admit they're building something there., instead of what I heard last year, "what building at the Contemporary?"

We leave in less than a month for our first Tower stay. The big kids are so excited. Of course they miss the yellow, purple, and turquoise decor. CR is dd's favorite hotel, and she's wanted to go back since we stayed in the North Wing as SOG guests in 2002. Her goal is to get a good enough job and make enough money to treat us all to a stay in Presidential Suite someday.

Also, does anyone know if there still is going to be a "CM Express?"

If the OR is going to be made into storage, and Contempo Cafe is being built, where's there room for CM Express? Unless room is used from Contempo Cafe?

I thought Contempo Cafe was CM Express. People just heard that the name might be changed.

I thought Contempo Cafe was CM Express. People just heard that the name might be changed.

We received some information from the WDW Travel Company when we made our ressies for next year. It lists the different dining options at the Contemporary, and the quick service spot is named Contempo Cafe.

What's the quickest way from the wing to the MK walking path? Is is through the lobby, or is there another way? Thanks!

The path runs outside the building. You'll see the signs; it's clearly marked.

Yes you have to go through the lobby. The path starts at the bus stop.

I hope this is true. I understand the popularity of CM and think it is great, but I don't want to see the Contemporary Resort become the Chef Mickey Resort. Hopefully with this potential name change, they also use a different decor than what exist at Chef Mickeys. I think it would just help keep the Contemporary, well, contemporary.

My husband and I will be leaving next Friday am for the CR Tower club! We are very excited. My travel agent Tracy from DU has done a wonderful job with this trip and I would recommend her to anyone. CR FAN, can you tell me if all of the construction in front of the CR is done? We went there at the end of July and it looked like it had a ways to go. Also, can you get around pretty well on the concourse level? Any info and pics would be great.
