They should give you a towel when you go through the gate at the pool. Then you should give back the towel when you go through the gate to leave the pool.
I talked to a CM. he said yes it's been a problem and a major controversy. He said people come down at 10:00, save chairs, then come back at 1:00. I asked what we should do and he said it was up to me if I want to sit in a chair someone has placed a towel in. He offered no assistance and basically threw me back into the lions den.
Well, the first family I had a run in with (the husband that said I was trying to "steal" there chairs and I should go "steal someone else's") , his wife and kids sat at the umbrella table all morning, the kids were playing iPods and didn't even have bathing suits on, then around lunch time they left. They never sat in the saved chairs ONE TIME!Finally the wife came back around 1:00 and took the towels and allowed people to sit there. How can someone do something like this??? It is mind boggling to me.
You are truly a SAINT...not so sure I would have been as nice and I'm a pretty easy going person. For the money we all spend on vacations, it really shouldn't be that difficult. I sure hope you don't have any more issues at SAB with chair hogging the rest of your trip.
well folks we are all showered and headed to Epcot!
Dinner tonight at Ohana!!!!!
If you want to see the pics I'm in the process of uploading you can watch them on my photobucket page: http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g293/ekmurphy12/Disney World August 2012/
I'll be back later to put some into posts![]()
Erika, just posting to say that I am LOVING your report. Your view of SSE made me gasp out loud! I would love that! And the gifts were incredible. I saw the card for your mom - were there Mickey earrings or something in the flowers? Maybe I didn't look hard enough. LOL
We didn't experience anything like that with chair hogging in May, but it was much less crowded. So sorry you are dealing with that. I think that the CMs should be clearing unoccupied lounge chairs regularly, and that the CM should have assisted you.
babyberger said:Erika, sorry you had such a tough time with the chairs at SAB today, that is totally a downer and sooo frustratingYour pics are great! I haven't been the Beauty and the Beast show in years, not sure why we always seem to miss it. It will be a must do for DD and I as I truly love that show! I was in the midst of dinner and kid chaos when you tweeted GG Slushie anyone, and I was raising my hand and yelling me, me, me
Did the boys enjoy Agent P? My kids cant wait to do it!
Hope you have a great night!
