The Most MAGICAL Trip Of Them All! "EVERYTHING'S PERFECT!" Oct. 2012 UPDATE 1/11

Your food at Raglan Road looks spectacular. I NEED TO TRY IT.

I love the Merida pin you got! I have the Oswald one (:

AHH RAGLAN ROAD WAS SO GOOD. I literally had one of the biggest laughing fits of my life there, I was just too overwhelmed by the whole trip at that point. It was amazing. I want to eat there again! The food was so good and I was pretty impressed by the dancers and entertainment too.

My friend met her husband on the DCP. He lived across the hall from her and had a car

I'm trying to get them to move down to Florida. She's on board, but he doesn't want to move away from family...lame! But we've renamed our guest room as their vacation home.

That's adorable! It seems like a lot of people do that. They really should. Maybe someday! :thumbsup2

Definitely! Thanks :goodvibes So looking forward to getting back out to Florida since I haven't been since 2008! It's been too long :hyper:

Another great update! I had to smile at your comment on the chips :thumbsup2 That's how we do "fries" as you call them over here in the UK all the time! I prefer them a bit thicker because then you get more potato :)

Also I love the Oswald pin! I love the Epic Mickey game and really looking forward to the next game coming out soon :cool1:

I'm very excited for you!

Yeah I like thick cut fries the best, too! They're delicious!

Thanks! Yeah that game looks cool!

You definitely do!

I KNOW. Hahaha I can't wait to hear about it in the TR! I completely agree with you! I must go back soon!

Oh, couples meeting in Disney... it's so presh! I seriously a bit (more than a bit) jealous. "So how did you two meet?" "Oh, our boss introduced us. Maybe you know him? His name is Mickey Mouse." :rotfl:

That bread pudding looks amazing! I am a fan of bread pudding in whatever flavor, form, container is comes in. Which is why it surprises me that I have not had Disney bread pudding yet???:crazy2:

Great pins! I love Merida, she's so brave and courageous!

What a great way to start a trip!! DTD is such a great arrival day thing to do, just enough of the magic, and then to bed. Ugh, TrenD, it's so rare I get out of there without spending all of my money!! Hhah
Excited to read more!

Ugh, having to condense your room in such a short period of time sounds like an absolute pain! Good thing your Mom came to help you out.

I hate all airport food, especially when I am looking forward to getting to Disney and their glorious food selection.

AirTran is a convenient location for Magical Express. :thumbsup2 We fly them often down to Orlando.

Awww, Nemo balloon. You're right, it is the little things like the balloon gift that makes Disney special.

Completely accurate assessment of CBR. Resort is nice, absolutely ginormous, with horrific buses. I fortunately had a car the last time I stayed there.

Love Raglan Road! Great restaurant and such a fun atmosphere. The Guinness bread dip is definitely one of the highlights.

Raglan Road's bread pudding is amazing! So so so good. Gah, I'm dying right now, I want some.

I know, it's so cute! I always thought I would meet my future husband in Disney... but if I end up with Preston that won't be the case. We would still will have a completely Disney-based life though since I'm gonna work there... so I'm happy if that's how it all works out.

Oh I know, right!? You NEED to try it at Raglan Road and Ohana. Those are the two best!

Thanks! I do too!

I go to DTD on the first day of my trips SO often lately. It's a great way to start off especially if you're getting there later in the day.

I know, I always try to avoid spending too much time in there or else I'll buy out the whole store! :lmao:

Thanks!

I know! I never would've been able to do it without her!

Same here!

They really are! I loved how close it was and I loved not getting lost for once!

They really do :) I love feeling like a child.

I'm glad you agree! I don't know if I want to stay there again. It's nice but like... I wasn't blown away.

It's SO fun! I love it and that Bread pudding was INCREDIBLE!

Your review of Raglan Road almost makes me want to try it again! I ate there during my honeymoon, and hubby and I probably didn't order the right dishes because we didn't enjoy it. The appetizer sampler was delicious though! Our not-so-good meal could've been because of the fact that we were EXHAUSTED and it was LOUD in there. Plus, since we were sitting on the round booth that goes around the stage, there were drinkers leaning on it right behind me and constantly moving so it was making me feel a bit motion sick! I'd be much more open to going for lunch because of a hopefully lighter crowd. Good thing there are a MILLION more Disney restaurants I have yet to try!

Ah yeah, I feel like going for lunch would be a better option for you guys. It definitely was loud in there! But we weren't RIGHT in the action so we were fine. Plus, maybe the dishes you ordered had something to do with it. Who knows! We really loved it and I'm sure you'd have a better experience if you went back! :thumbsup2

That dinner at raglan road looks delicious. Also love the pins you bought, I am a little obsessed with brave, as in I love the fact that its the first princess movie that concentrates on the love of your family especially the bond between mother and daughter and of course I know you and your mom are super close from your TRs. (I <3 my mommy too lol) soo.... Anyways I love your reviews on restaurants cause you really go everywhere not just the most popular places. I get so many great places to try in December from your reports. So thanks and keep the recommendations coming!

I'm on board for this trip! I would love to do a trip with my mom sometime soon.

I love how you said that you love Disney merchandise and enjoy being in its presence! I can so relate to that. Very well put.
I think I may need that Oswald pin.
Raglan Road looks very good and I have considered going there. I actually went in and purchased a post card there before but I was on my own that day and didnt feel like eating by myself. I should have ordered something to go.
Speaking of DTD food. Did you know that the only other T-Rex restaurant is in the Kansas City area. It is near where I like and I am thinking of going there for lunch tomorrow. It can help me pretend that I teleported to Florida.
Have a great week.

I cannot wait to eat at Raglan Road in three weeks! I'm actually trying to decide between the lamb dish and the Fish and Chips. I'm sorry to say that this did not help me at all because the both look so good! I do think I found my dessert though. The Dunbrody Kiss looks like it was made for me because the more chocolate the better!

I am shocked that you went into the World of Disney and didn't buy anything. I didn't think that was possible! :rotfl2:

Oh and I want that Pluto pin in the last picture! I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Oh, Raglan Road- How I love thee!

My DH dreams about that bread pudding! I think we have eaten there a good 4-5 times now, and have not been disappointed yet. I prefer lunch as it is quieter, unless you're in the mood for more of a party/bar atmosphere. Some dishes have been better than others- but I can't say we didn't like any of it!

And the bathrooms- SO PRETTY! Did you notice the audio in the bathrooms? I believe it is Irish comedians. I have the worst time trying to understand them and yet I could stay there and listen all day!

Raglan Road's Bread Pudding is my FAVORITE Disney food! Oh man, it's the best ever. I wish more people knew about the amazingness that is Raglan Road! Then again, maybe I don't. I love going there because it's never insanely packed and we can usually check in early.

Anyway, I'm just in love with that restaurant and I'm so glad you guys loved it so much, because it's one of our favorites! I usually go for the fish 'n chips but last time I got this lobster salad sandwich type of thing and it was to DIE for... as were their onion rings!

I love your pins. We're huge Oswald fans and I actually got the Oswald/Mickey pin from Epic Mickey, along with the Oswald ears, a few months ago at a nerdy video game convention here in Seattle. I actually sent my friend a pair (you might've seen them on Instagram)... Anywaaaay, sorry, I just love the Oswald pin you picked up!

I LOVE your TRs cant wait for more.

You made the perfect Belle, I had to do a double take!!

I actually teared up when I read you got accepted to DCP! Its my dream to work for Disney as well! You GO GIRL! LOL

Yumm that food looks amazing! I've been wanting to try Raglan Road for awhile now!

It was! Thank you. I thought the concept of Brave was very cool. I didn't expect that storyline coming from a movie with a princess so it was very interesting and unpredictable!

I'm so glad the reviews are helpful! My goal is to go to every Disney restaurant so I like to go everywhere and report back to you guys! I hope you have a magical trip and you are very welcome! I will!

I want an Oswald pin.

It was a green one too! (aka the cheapest! woohoo!)

I'm on board for this trip! I would love to do a trip with my mom sometime soon.

I'm so glad! I hope you get to!

I really do. I just feel so at home in a Disney gift shop. :lmao: I'm crazy.

Aww that's alright. You'll just have to go back! I hope you got to T-Rex and I hope it was delicious!!

You are going to LOVE it! I would probably go with the lamb if I were you just because it's unique to the restaurant! You can get fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop or Rose & Crown in the UK but you can't get that lamb shank anywhere else! And oh yeah, that dessert is for any chocolate lover out there!

I know, right!?

It's super cute! I think that one was pretty common - you should be able to find it!

I can see myself going back again and again! I think I would like to try it for lunch sometime... I just feel like the whole atmosphere would be different!

I KNOW! Yes I did. Hahaha I just love how the BATHROOMS are something to rave about. Oh Disney.

I know! I think it has become pretty popular here on the dis so I'm glad I get to continue spreading the word! It's awesome!

Oh wow, that sounds AMAZING! I'll have to look for it last time! I bet that lobster salad sandwich is on the lunch menu because I don't remember it on the dinner menu.

Thanks! Oh my goodness, by boyfriend would be SO jealous. Oswald is his favorite and he wants oswald pins/those oswald ears SO bad. I'm glad you have them! Thank you!

I LOVE your TRs cant wait for more.

Thank you so much!

Aww you're so sweet! Thank you!

I hope you get to live your dream someday! It has always been my dream and I'm so glad I'm finally making things happen! I can't wait to begin my adventure! :goodvibes

Yumm that food looks amazing! I've been wanting to try Raglan Road for awhile now!

It was! You definitely should try and get there soon! It's delicious!

I so enjoy your updates!

It's so cute that your friend met her BF in Disney. If I could change one thing about my DFi, it would be that he needs to be as obsessed with Disney as I am! The boy just does not understand!!! :headache:

I'm glad you enjoyed Raglan Road. I thought it was sooooo good when I ate there last year, especially the bread pudding!!! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!! I had been stalking that bread pudding all over the restaurant boards for months before our trip. And you're right, it totally lived up to its reputation. I'm not sure if the fries you had were the Garlic & Parmesan fries that I had, but they were amaaaaaazing:

Can't wait for more!!!! I live vicariously through your updates :rotfl:
