The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

There you have it, airfare DONE! I looked and booked.

Update to my update: Now this morning I went on to peek at the fares again and they’ve reduced my outbound flight to $107. :headache: Oh well, maybe we’ll rebook and get a refund voucher. Judy could put it towards her annual trek to the PChef Annual Conference at HQ in Chicago.

Those would have been my choices too. You did pretty good on airfare :thumbsup2

We did that last year - rebooked when prices went down. Although, we went in May, and our trip this year is in September. So our voucher will expire by then. It was only for $60, so not a big deal. Yeah, sometimes its best just to book it and forget it!

Great airfare!:thumbsup2

I love southwest, it's what I usually fly if I can. I like being able to pick my seat..then i give the evil eye to anyone who looks like they want to sit next to me.;)

Noooooo :guilty: We've been talking about this earlier past year, but we were having serious economic problems so we accorded we should talk about that trip later. Then after New Year things looked a lot better and we decided to go next year... 2011.

I don't want to hijack your PTR ;) so I'm just gonna say this:
. Maybe a nephew is coming with us
. I'm thinking POR or CBR
. Dad is not coming because he says "it's gonna be a lot of unruly children there!" :lmao:
. I need to get everything done through a travel agent here in México. The "packages" include hotel, plane tickets, park tickets and airport-hotel-airport taxis.
. I will check if we can get the dinning plan... this trip I want to go to some TS restaurants (Mom won't approve fast food ;) )
. At least one whole day should be used to visit IOA to see the Harry Potter attraction (mom's a fan).
. If nephew is coming we are going in June, if not then I'll try for a less crowded time.

So far that's what I have. And as soon as I have some stuff straightened around here I'll be putting some money down on the trip, perhaps by this May or June.

Seriously though, it sounds good...like you have a pretty good idea of where you'd like to stay and when.

Bummer you didn't get to use it. At least it wasn't too much.

Pick your seat! One of the sayings of my wife's family (I can't believe I hadn't heard it, 'cause I thought I knew all of the off-color stuff) was if they saw you scratching your butt or un-wedgie-ing yourself, they'd say "are you going to the movies?" And you'd go, "Huh?" And then they'd say, "I thought you were going to the movies because you're picking your seat!"

But yeah, we like Southwest too. We've never had trouble getting seats together, and they've always been on-time or early.

:rotfl2: That's kinda like "Wanna hear a knock knock joke? Okay, you start." :confused3

Your tho thilly.

The girls LOVE knock knock jokes. Tahli's current favorite:

Knock, Knock

Who's there?

Interrupting cow.

Interrupting co.....

MOOOOOOOOO!

It was funny the first dozen or so times.

:rotfl2: I love it! Mackenzie's is...

Know what's invisible and smells like carrots?.........

Bunny toots!!

Sorry I couldn't resist a little potty humor. :goodvibes

That's classic!!! I'm totally gonna use that one! My kids will think it's a riot!:lmao:

Ha! I can picture myself talking to the travel agent:

"I want this hotel, these dates, these tickets, the dinning plan, these dinner reservations and please log in in this board and write down my PTR with all the updates" :lmao:

Another thing I know for sure for this trip is that we are definitively not going commando... mom will insist in wearing underwear!

Sorry I wanted to join in the joke trend :rotfl:

You get what you pay for Trib....you get what you pay for. Look for a full service travel agent. ;)
