The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Thanks for the awesome update on the DC Meet, glenn! Looks like you all had such a great time! Pic of Rosie with hat and glasses - priceless!:lmao:

:lmao: Your answer could be "DISers are slightly warped." and you'd just get the smile and nod from the wife. ;)

I hope she does!!!! That would make for SUCH a fun game!!!! Glenn, convince her!!!! :hyper:

Warped who arre you calling warped :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I like the idea of "How many Judy Parts can you find ??":rotfl2:

Then there could be How does Rosie get her foot into her mouth with such ease!!!!!:lmao::lmao:

Just an Un subtle hint I have started to write about Tracey and my trip from the begining !!popcorn::popcorn::

I can see it now. On the next trip she will remember this and maybe either on purpose or on the sly, she will begin to stick parts of her ever so slightly in the picture just to "play" with us. :rotfl2:

I am totally behind so I don't know what you are referring to, but I think this sounds like a really fun DIS game! :lmao:

Edit: Oh, now I see several others said the same thing above - must be unanimous vote then, Judy!

Hi Glen,

After my twelve hour drive home today, I can barely see straight but had to come on and say how great it was to meet you and Judy. I had such a wonderful time. Love the mini trip report you wrote of our meet - will comment more tomorrow. Of course, I would love some of the pics as well!

Hi Glenn ... and anyone else lurking about that I had the pleasure of meeting in DC yesterday!! "Just Jamie" here ... testing ... 1 2 3 ... is this thing on?! TrayRene, English Rose, All 7 of Us, jenbear 123... can you hear me now?! It's going to take me a bit to catch on to this here forum thing and how you use it ... shame I don't know anyone close by who could give me a tutorial!! Love the photos you posted today ... and you were able to capture some things that I was not because I was trying to preserve battery life -- how else was I to take a picture of Kermit THE Frog at the Smithsonian?! Ok ... about to post this ... here goes NUTHIN!

Just Jamie!!! :yay::yay: So psyched you're here!! You are my hero!! Thanks for saving my day! I had such a great time with you guys!

I know you all are eager to see some pictures from the DC Meet yesterday, so here goes.

Once again, Glennbo plays the hero!

and walked in fashionably late at about 12:40.

It was ever so fashionable. So fashionable I almost called you.

so the first thing I said was, “You’re Bubba!” And to think that I was worried, back before our June trip to WDW. I was afraid that if I ran into Bubba I wouldn’t know what to say to her, not knowing her real name.

I think she was the one who became utterly terrified at this point.

We talked and laughed for quite a while before the first camera came out. Meanwhile, I was itching to start photo-documenting this historic occasion.

Just before the food was served, Liesa got out some gift bags to give everyone, so with that, all the cameras came out.

And this was even more terrifying. Seriously, there was more flashing going on than a Notre Dame football game in the 70s.

Jenb123’s daughter, Jenb, her husband, and Liesa.

IMG_4360.jpg

Let's just start this party off with even more terrifying photo documentation.

That famous Canadian “thumbs up”.

IMG_4363.jpg

I am so using that this trip. In fact, I confused it with the Peep pose- see my thread.

Rosie with a hat (I forget the name of it…turk-something?) that Liesa brought her from Blankistan, and Tracy behind her.

IMG_4364.jpg

Takia. Old men wear them. Or every man for a funeral, to go to the mosque, on holidays etc...

I don’t even remember taking this next picture. I’m serious. But it cracks me up! I think Rosie was trying to do the Jordan tongue-thing. Liesa gave us all these glasses.

IMG_4366.jpg

No, Tate gave them to you.

Our lovely Meet organizer.

IMG_4373.jpg

Why thank you. But it all went downhill from there. Hot does little for a fresh face and a cotton shirt.

And one without flash. Rosie yelled out “I won’t flash!”

IMG_4376.jpg

Woulda been funny, though, Rosie.
After we ate I knew that the young ladies from Canada would have to leave to catch their flight, so I asked for a picture. First we did a pouty one, but I couldn’t keep a straight face.

IMG_4378.jpg

I think this one is even funnier than Rosie's! Kinda like you all needed some Rolaids.

Glennbo, thank you very much for th update! Yiu must have had so much fun!
Did you try the tea?

/
Some tried it a little bit (I haven't yet). They said it was very salty. I showed it to James yesterday and had him guess. After I had him try a little he said, "IT'S SOME KIND OF POO ISN'T IT?!"

Ok, this makes me wonder what type of father you are that your son thinks that you make him eat poo!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: :lmao:

And the fact that the glasses were a gift from Tate makes a lot of sense! Tate does have a rather loud taste...

Read you loud and clear! It was a pleasure to meet you on the weekend! Welcome to the DIS!!!! If you need help with anything, just ask!

Hi Glen,

After my twelve hour drive home today, I can barely see straight but had to come on and say how great it was to meet you and Judy.

Twelve hours! :scared1: And I thought our drive was bad....

And this was even more terrifying. Seriously, there was more flashing going on than a Notre Dame football game in the 70s.

:lmao:

Takia. Old men wear them. Or every man for a funeral, to go to the mosque, on holidays etc...

Ah ha! So I did get it right.

I think this one is even funnier than Rosie's! Kinda like you all needed some Rolaids.

:rotfl2: Or the fact that we all look constipated :rotfl2:

I can see it now. On the next trip she will remember this and maybe either on purpose or on the sly, she will begin to stick parts of her ever so slightly in the picture just to "play" with us. :rotfl2:

You guys are paranoid!

Let's try this again and hope the internet doesn't crash again !!!WELCOME to the Dis JJ !!!!Tracey and I were making bets as to how long before you joined us CRAZY DISSERS!!!!:banana::banana: Now you can follow along with all the CRAZY stuff we do too !!! Like count Judy's !!!!:rolleyes1

Maybe she wouldn't have agreed to meet us had she known how crazy we were.

Hi there Capells !!!!!!:yay::yay:

Nice to have them along isn't it!

:lmao: Your answer could be "DISers are slightly warped." and you'd just get the smile and nod from the wife. ;)

Yeah, pretty much.

I hope she does!!!! That would make for SUCH a fun game!!!! Glenn, convince her!!!! :hyper:

You're so funny!

Thanks for the awesome update on the DC Meet, glenn! Looks like you all had such a great time! Pic of Rosie with hat and glasses - priceless!:lmao:

You're welcome Tammie! It was a good time. That's quite a pic, for sure.

Warped who arre you calling warped :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I like the idea of "How many Judy Parts can you find ??":rotfl2:

Then there could be How does Rosie get her foot into her mouth with such ease!!!!!:lmao::lmao:

I don't know..."Judy parts" just doesn't sound like a subject I should broach.

I'll get over and check out your write-up.

I am totally behind so I don't know what you are referring to, but I think this sounds like a really fun DIS game! :lmao:

Edit: Oh, now I see several others said the same thing above - must be unanimous vote then, Judy!

It's just an informal game we started when we noticed that Judy was waaaay in the back in a picture from one of the earlyl installments. Now we try to see who can be the first to post how many "Judy's" they see, and the correct number as sometimes it can get tricky.

Hi Glen,

It was great to meet you Tracy! Thanks for driving all of that way to see us. We had a ball. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send some pics.

Just Jamie!!! :yay::yay: So psyched you're here!! You are my hero!! Thanks for saving my day! I had such a great time with you guys!

It's really cool she's posting!

Once again, Glennbo plays the hero!

Oh brother.

It was ever so fashionable. So fashionable I almost called you.

I thought so...I looked at my phone a couple of times to see if I missed a call.

I think she was the one who became utterly terrified at this point.

I figured you'd all gone over the Bubba thing by the time I got there.

And this was even more terrifying. Seriously, there was more flashing going on than a Notre Dame football game in the 70s.

And only slightly less streaking.

I am so using that this trip. In fact, I confused it with the Peep pose- see my thread.

It's definitely a lot easier than the Peep tongue thing, which is surprisingly difficult to pull off.

Takia. Old men wear them. Or every man for a funeral, to go to the mosque, on holidays etc...

Right! Takia. Takia. Takia. Got it.

No, Tate gave them to you.

Oh! Thanks Tate!

Woulda been funny, though, Rosie.

And eyebrow-raising.

I think this one is even funnier than Rosie's! Kinda like you all needed some Rolaids.

Glennbo, thank you very much for th update! Yiu must have had so much fun!
Did you try the tea?

Thanks...we did! No, I haven't tried the tea yet. You got some too, right? Pretty good?

Ok, this makes me wonder what type of father you are that your son thinks that you make him eat poo!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: :lmao:

That's pretty much what I said in response!

And the fact that the glasses were a gift from Tate makes a lot of sense! Tate does have a rather loud taste...

Yep, totally Tate.

Wow! Looks like you had lots of fun guys! So many great and funny pictures :thumbsup2

Yes we did! When will you be in the area Trib?

No, we got some chocolate, which I forgot at my parents house :guilty: But that's why I'm curious - never had Blankistani tea...

Ooops. The dangers of comparing goodie bags. Sorry Liesa. :flower3:

The kids have been asking about the chocolate, so it looks like I'm going to have to split it several ways soon.

What a great meet - it looks like you all had so much fun! :yay:

Yes it was! We need to have something in Florida sometime.

Glen -

Thanks for posting those pics of the DC meet. It looks like everyone had a fabulous time! And the food looks amazing. Is it lunchtime yet??????

Okay Rosie better fess up !!Thinking (which is a dangerous thing to do:rotfl2:) that Judy knew all about the "Where's Judy" kinda like Where's Waldo??:rotfl2:Oh thats' another thread !!!:rotfl2:Rosie syas to Judy how do you like us all counting the Judy's !!!!:scared1:The look of bewilderment on her face told me !!!Oh Foot get outta my mouth:lmao:Glen says "Thanks Rosie ":scared1:But I think she was okay with it just thinks we are all NUTS!!!:rotfl2:And of course she is right !!!:lmao:

Now Liesa those hats are what OLD MEN wear?????Thanks a lot :rotfl2: I still love it !!!

After lunch, Jenbear and Bubba headed for the airport, and the Capells and Jenb’s family each had to leave. The rest of went on an adventure on the Metro to see our fair Capitol. There were 7 of us left to go into D.C., and as we changed trains at Metro Center, we reassembled and asked, “Do we have all 7 of us?” (All7OfUs is Liesa’s screen name.)
You gotta admit, that was kind of ironic.

That's pretty much how it went down. Yes, she's okay with it. She recognizes it's a loveable kind of crazy.

Exactly!

That's just what I said. The ol' Charlie Brown Halloween special.

Tanya, the boss needs some more info. Was it shaped like a dome and have several layers to it? Do you know any of the ingredients in it?

It was just mixed together in a bowl. I don't know any of the ingredients, but I would guess probably cream cheese. It was that consistency. When the gal who brought it set it out and saw my son reaching for some she warned them that it "had a bit of a kick to it". (It wasn't real spicy like a taco type of dip, but it wasn't bland at all either) I kind of assumed it was just a mix that you add to cream cheese because she wouldn't give us a recipe. In fact, I don't think she realized that I was my son's mother (there were about 30 of us there) because when he asked her what was in it she told him "Pampered Chef herbed cheese ball.....ask your mother about it - she'll know" :confused3 That's ok, if Judy can't figure it out from my poor description, I'm sure we'll survive. If my son gets desperate for it I can ask the gals husband again (I don't know her name, but see her husband at meetings occasionally)
