What's a good eyelash curler? I'm lucky that I have black full lashes and don't need to wear mascara...but I think my lashes would look even better if they were curled.

Any suggestions? :)

What foundation do you all use? My Bobbi Brown foundation stick has reached the end; trying to decide whether to replace it or try something else.

I am strickly BareMinerals. I use the Matte. I found this is the only foundation I can use that does not cause me to swell or break out as I am allergic to sunscreen and offers me some spf protection without the negatives.

Question for you ladies...

I have been using Too Faced Lash Injection mascara for YEARS.It is the BEST mascara I have every used. It is just SO expensive. DH and I are saving money for a house and I am trying to cut some corners and costs.

I have really long lashes already, but they are not very thick. I use the Lash Injection because it makes them fuller, without adding a ton of length.

Do you gals know of any cheaper mascaras with the staying power of Too Faced, that will add VOLUME without too much LENGTH? (I'm thinking the max price oint would be about $10)

I just returned a Sephora mascara that was supposed to give the same results as Two Faced - it doesn't.

I haven't been able to find the Lash Injection anywhere and found out there's been a recall. I'm hoping it doesn't last long because I'm not having much luck finding a mascara I like as well.

I've had great luck with this one:

It's Benefit's They're Real! Mascara. Took me a few tries to get used to it, but now I *LOVE* it - the brush is a little wonky, but I've had numerous people ask me if they're fake lashes or if I use Latisse.

Oooh, I need to try that mascara too. My major flaw is non-existent lashes. I've tried numerous mascaras that don't seem to do what they claim (of course, I don't have much of a base to start with, lol). Will give this one a try. Thanks!

This is..... GORGEOUS!! New Laura Mercier Lingerie collection for eyes & lips. Anyone have it yet? I might have to take a trip to Sephora this weekend to test it out.

Would you guys try Latisse, already!!!! pirate:

I'm telling you - worth every single dime. And I started ordering it from www.alldaychemist.com (CareProst) for $10.

It's UNBELIEVABLE the difference. Unreal!!!!

What, what, WHAT!?! $10? I'll totally try it for that :thumbsup2
How can they sell it for so cheap? Blows my mind - or, should I ask, why is my Derm office charging so much?

The patent for Latisee is only held in the USA. It's available as generic, all over the world - except the US.

That's true for a lot of drugs. It's pathetic. I get my Symbicort Inhaler - which is $260 retail here - for $8.

I've been using www.alldaychemist.com for years. Good place. Too bad they don't tell *fun* drugs. :hippie: ;)

Yeah, Google: CareProst. You'll see.

Hi Ladies:wave2: I am going to Disney for a few days next month then on a cruise with a double dip at Castaway Cay. I hate wearing hats in the sun, but I have very thin, baby fine, tends to be greasy by the end of the day at the roots, long blonde hair (yes you can see my scalp through my hair) and I often wind up with my scalp or at least where I part my hair sunburned at Disney or the beach. At Disneyworld I usually dip my finger in sunscreen and dab it along my hairline and part, but of course that ends up looking greasy at some point during the day.

I was in Ulta today killing time and noticed a Nioxin Scalp Shield on the clearance rack for $3.99 so I bought it. It says to spray it right on to your wet hair before you dry and style. Has anyone tried this before? Did it work? Did it make you hair greasy looking?

Thanks in advance,

Rhonda

I've never tried it. I Googled it though - http://www.amazon.com/Nioxin-Scalp-Shield-Sunblock-Alcohol-Free/dp/B0029E3P4S - The reviews say it does NOT leave you greasy.

Try it before you go. :)

SERIOUSLY????!!

I thought you needed a prescription for Latisse which is what hung me up. I HATE going to doctors - I'm as bad as a male in that area, lol.

Thanks, CR! I will be looking into that site today! :goodvibes

EDIT: I'm not finding Latisse on that site. Is it under a different name perhaps?

Have any of you who use Lash Injection mascara noticed a difference lately? The last 2 tubes I've bought have been terrible. At first I thought it was just that it had been on the shelf too long, but the next tube I bought was the same way. Very dry and clumpy and when I added water like I usually so when it dries out (as this mascara tends to do), it didn't help much at all. The consistancy is just very different!

I'm going to be so upset if they changed the formula although I can't imagine why they would change to this. I guess I'm going to have to try the Benefit. I really loved Lash Injection because it was the only mascara that worked for me on its own, without a primer.

I don't know if the tubes might just be old? Maybe it's not a popular mascara - but I agree with you. Been crappy my last 2 rounds, too.

I would like to try this could you let me know how it works? I have used Nioxin before but IMHO the shampoo did nothing. I have been taking hair, skin, nails vitamins that I got at Costco and my hair seems to be really smooth etc.

SKIN not so much. That darn Clarisonic! I have rosacea(sp?) and unfortunately I used it before I realized that it says if you have this condition you should not use it. Going to the dermatologist on Tue. Guess he will put me back on Metro Gel.

CR what country is made in? Also, is CAREPROST the name of it? For 10.00 I would try it.

BTW My hair is really looking good! Could be that it is winter, could be the Hair Skin and Nails vitamins OR could be ...and I cannot even believe this....I am using NO yes NO product on it. I don't get it! HOWEVER my husband got me a Mason Pearson Brush for Christmas. I had these when I was growing up and he hunted it down for me. It is not great for styling but dam it makes the hair smooth after a few weeks of use. Pure boar bristle ....it is expensive 200.00 BUT it looks like I have had a keratin treatment WITHOUT the chemicals.
