I'd say the samples are maybe an ounce and a half......Igot buttery tan too...but for me, that's too dark...so I need to try something lighter too...

I'm still not convinced I like the mineral wear at all...I need more coverage...especially with the dryness....I may go into ulta again this weekend...

need to read back & see what eyeliner you guys all like...

Cat - I forgot to tell you ...I love the Matrix root lifter! not like it gives me more hair or anything....but it pumps it up a lot....

HOW did Imiss this both on here and in the store. Please tell me more about it.
I am a little depressed today. I was supposed to get my second order of BC according to tracking but it did not come. Also, I used my solano flat iron and while Ilike it okay it does not give me the unbelievable shine that I got when the hairdresser used it on me. It hit me today it is not the iron, it is the fact that there must be so much product on the iron from so much use that it gives the shine.

"Wow, youre makeup looks so good!"
"Thanks, I have Monistat on my face!"

I haven't tried it, but many of the gals on the Everyday Minerals BB site swear by it. They say the ingredients are almost exactly the same as the silicone face primers, but at a fraction of the cost. I have it in my shopping cart at Amazon,com... I think I'll go ahead and order. When I try it, I'll report back and tell y'all what I think.

I can't wait to hear if this works! Please tell us!

Have any of you ladies tried the new skin care line at Aldi called Lacura?

I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info about it, mostly from the UK and Australia where it has been available for awhile. It has rave reviews and is super cheap. They are supposed to release a makeup line as well, that also has great reviews.

Isnt it nice?? It truly does lift your roots. Lots of oomph. Good stuff.

Have you tried a moisturizer, under the intense powder? I mean, mineral makeup isnt for everyone - not everyone loves it, but I just wanna make sure you give it a good shot.

I used to really really like TiGi's foundation, before I used this stuff.

I have heard that before - and I heard it's great - but it sounds so .....gross! LOL!

I havent seen it at BeautyCrunch - ever.

The outlet in Aurora (the one that is the same as that one in Orlando, by that Mary Queen of the Universe) has a Cosmetics Company Outlet. They have MAC (and Stila, and Clinique, and Estee Lauder) but it's a crap shoot. Sometimes it's good - sometimes it's not. If you're planning a run over to the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall (are you guys getting a car?) You could check it out there, for fun. But like I said ...crap shoot. If you happen to be out in Aurora - then check it out - I wouldnt make a trip for it, IMO.

I go to Oak Brook / Nordstroms. There's a MAC store in Oak Brook too, but Nordstroms is right next door to H&M, so that makes for *boom boom* easy shopping. :)

I know online has great shipping deals - but I like the touchy feely of trying stuff (especially when I dont know what it is I want - y'know?)

Or you could be BellatheBall - and stumble across hoardes of it at Maggiano's! :rolleyes1

....and spend the next few years trying to figure out how to get it again. Now tht I know they meet 4 times a year I am going to try and get the info out of the people at the MaC store near me. I have GOT to try the outlet in Orlando this summer. I cannot believe I missed it. You are talking about the outlet mall with Ralph Lauren etc in it.

YOu know I was thinking if you Monostat as a primer, and Preparation H to get rid of the bags under your eyes.....well there HAS to be a really good joke there but I just cannot come up with it.

I agree. Let us know.

Interesting. I have not even seen it, I dont think.

Butt Face comes to mind.

I cant say the other one.... I'm going for a point free weekend. :thumbsup2

oh! The smudge pots aren't sold out anymore on beaturycrunch and also another collection I was wanting. Now if only I can get my debit card out of my purse without DH noticing......:rolleyes1

Ladies, ladies, you can't be a true Internet shopping pro until you memorize that CC number - including the security code! :)

OK, I added to my loot today. I went to sephora  I got the stila smudge pot in bronze, too faced eye primer, and buxom lipgloss in Isabella. I think I will go back and get the smudge pot in jade too. I was having a hard time deciding. This is really a great thread. Thanks to everyone.

OK- I was shopping with DH this evening and saw the Monistat stuff at Target- $5.79 for the 1.5oz tube. I went ahead and bought it. I will try it out tomorrow, and report back. I did squeeze a little bit out on my hand and rubbed it in- it does really feel nice!

I haven't read all your awesome thread but wanted to tell ya'll that the bare minerals buxom mascara is great. I could tell a difference in the length and thickness. I have thick hair but thin lashes, jeez think I could have spread the love there.

Anyways this is a pretty decent mascara but of course I'm not very picky about that sort of thing. I did pay $18 for it so I damn well better like it.

How well does this resist smudging? I've had a problem for years with getting grey smudges under my eyes, even though I stopped wearing mascara on my bottom lashes. It didn't matter what mascara I used, until... Too Faced Lash Injection! :lovestruc I'm a recent convert. It does flake a little, but I'd rather brush off a few flakes than see those darn grey smudges.

Ain't that the truth!

I'm going to try to head to Sephora today to return my Too Faced lipgloss. I may stop by the MAC counter at Macy's. If I'm feeling extra adventurous, I may drive way over to Nordstroms. Please pray for my debit card

Hi Girls! I've never posted on this thread before but thought it would be a good place to pose a question.

I haven't been able to wear makeup in an entire week thanks to a terrible burn and breakout from Bare Esen. Now I'm in the market for something new as I had to return it and had thrown out all my old stuff.

I did love the way it looked and today tried some samples from Amoraleigh and Signature Minerals. My face looks boring and almost chalky I guess. I don't like to look like I have makeup on, but I like the even tone and glowing effect that makeup gives me (I have some reddening across my nose and cheeks).

Do you guys have any recommendations on what I can try next? I'm super-sensitive to makeup (and everything). Can't have bismuth, must be oil-free, no talc, etc. Even clinique liquid clogs my poors!

Please help! I feel so icky with no makeup on!! :scared1:

Thanks! And I'm so sorry if this would be considered an imposing question on this thread.

NOOOO!! The Too Faced Primer, the Mascara, and the lip plumper are in a set on Beauty Crunch for 15.75! Hold off do not use the primer and order on Beauty Crunch. Even if you pay the 7.96 shipping it still makes it a great value because the mascara is 19 and the primer is 17 and I have no idea how much the lip plumper goes for.

I do not think anyone else uses this but me on this thread but I like the cosmetics by Paula Begouin at www.cosmeticscop.com. She has ratings in her book for all the make up. I am betting if you check out the ingredients you will find it does not have bismuth. It is a really good quality make up and it is very very reasonably priced.

You know I am betting it is the same stuff. If you check the ingredients and post them I will get the ingredients on the PHoto Finish and see if they are the same. If they are....well hell I will use it too!

I was on Beauty Crunch and I saw Bella, Bella Il Fiore and Lola make up . Anyone have any info our use these brands. I was tempted but know nothing about them. I checked Make up Alley and they only had one comment on Bella Il Fiore am I right in guessing that it must be a European brand? I think most of the stuff on BC is from Estee Lauder. Mac, Bobbie Brown, Precriptives, Stila, Clinique, and a couple of others were all sold in the Company Store which is the outlet for Estee.
