Enterprise at MCO

Is it possible to get to the Enterprise rental counter in Terminal B from an uber without going through the main terminal and security?

Yes, the Uber is going to drop you off on level 3, go down to level 1, that is where the car rental counters are. If you have an Enterprise Plus account, you can just go to the kiosk in the garage across the driveway.

After your first rental it gets even easier. There is no stopping. You go straight to the section your reservation is in, pick a car and drive away. Everything is done at the exit booth. The first time, they may need to verify your DL and CC.

In addition to what @EACarlson said, you might be able to have the Uber drop you off on the arrivals level (to save you some steps). They may or may not be able to do, but I've been successful in doing that before. If they can't it's no biggie, you'll just head down to that level once getting dropped off at departures.

Does anyone have any idea why Enterprise made this stupid decision to stop allowing people to pick out their own car and drive to the exit to check out? That is specifically why I chose Enterprise, National, or Alamo in the past I was able to pick up my own car and drive to the exit and check out at the exit booth. Now they want to bring a vehicle up to you. If it's not one that I can fit in (because I'm a little heavy and I'm 6'5") then they need to take it back and bring another one. The last time we rented a vehicle we rented with National and it took FOREVER with me continuously telling them that they are bringing up the wrong vehicle and I need a Chrysler Pacifica that I know for a fact they have (I could literally see it from where I was standing). They finally brought the thing up a half hour later after bringing me five other cars. I don't want to go through that again. Why did they get rid of the option with these three places to go pick out your own car?

Are you talking about Emerald Club/Executive Aisle? Those are still in place at MCO, i just used it last week.

If it's 'regular' rental, then I don't know, I've only ever done the Emerald Club/Executive Aisle at MCO. But what you're describing does sound like car rental many other places.

Did you specifically reserve a minivan? A Chrysler Pacifica is a minivan, so if that's what you reserved then you should be getting a minivan (though I've never heard of being able to specify a particular make/model when reserving a specific car class).

It was a thing they had like their sister company Alamo where you could skip the counter and go directly to the car and select the one you want and drive to the exit gate to check out. They got rid of it. I cancelled my reservation and reserved with Alamo so I can skip the counter and do this. Getting rid of that was stupid for Enterprise. So let me ask you another question, How did you get to the rental car section from baggage claim? I keep watching videos on this and videos posted around the same time as one another are showing different paths. One video will show someone go to the elevators right by baggage claim and go down the elevator or escalator two floors to the parking garage. Other videos posted at the same time as that video show people walking away from the baggage claim and walking out doors and crossing a street to get to the parking garage where there's an escalator leading up to a second level for rental cars made rental cars on the first level. Which one is it?

It has been years since we rented a car at Orlando International. The last few times we've gone to Florida we've landed in Tampa and rented there because we were flying out of Tampa

You can do it either way. I don't think either is better, it just depends on whether you want to walk outside or not, lol. Taking the elevator to the ground floor and using the tunnel, then coming back 'up' on other other side (the parking garage) to get to rental cars keeps you inside. Crossing the street from the door outside baggage claim might be a bit more direct (at least it seems that way to me), but you do have to go outside (and cross a street).

The videos also might look different if they're from Terminal A versus Terminal B. The general path is the same, but they might look a a bit different since they're different terminals.
