That's always fun to do. Family Night! We are going to a party at a friends house. The kids are invited so two of them will come with us. The teenager is going to a party (family) around the cornor from our house.

It's funny how we change as we get older. My parents always wanted to stay home on New Year's Eve. I always thought why? Now as a parent myself I totally get it. I worry about all the drunk people driving around. It always seems to be foggy on NYE. I really wish I could just stay home, rent some movies, hit the daiquiri shop and watch the ball drop on my big TV. Am I being a scrooge?

I know, I'm totally the same way.

DH and his brother usually play video games while I sleep...they stop long enough to watch the ball drop then i go back to sleep...works pretty well

OT - have any of you guys been over on the 'Offensive' thread lately? It's getting WAAAAY out of hand over there!!! I can hardly believe it's not shut down!!! Wish I could make it go back to just the 'old gang' that was there before .....it's been hijacked by a bunch of sex-maniacs!!!

Any ideas???

OT - have any of you guys been over on the 'Offensive' thread lately? It's getting WAAAAY out of hand over there!!! I can hardly believe it's not shut down!!! Wish I could make it go back to just the 'old gang' that was there before .....it's been hijacked by a bunch of sex-maniacs!!!

Any ideas???

Well, not exactly....we have been hinting that things are getting out of hand, don't want to lose our posts, close a thread, etc. Guess that's not enough.

OMG!!! It's REALLY bad most of the time now!!! Kevdaddy has actually PM'd about how bad it is. Not going there too often anymore unless it changes back to the offensive fun we're used to!!!

I am trying to look at the new posts link...the search keeps coming up and it is set up like a search page now not like the lists of new posts like before...am i doing smoehting wrong or is this another change?

I get that some of the times or I get a list but not like it was before. HATE the changes!!! Why did they have to mess with things anyways???
