Morning everyone!!

I've got to spend part of my day buying some dishes, towels, shower curtains, etc. for the employee housing.

I swear, they steal everything before they go home. One year, they even took all the friggin light bulbs!!

I know it would make more work for you but I would inventory everything in the houses and then when they move out if anything is missing then take it out of their last paycheck.

Hi everyone. I have almost made it through spring break. The older kids went back to the other house. While I was doing all the "mom" stuff I felt like a loser I couldn't get on here!!
About to head to a playdate for the younger ones.

If it was possible, I would.

But the problem is, they're leaving for Mexico, so I have to get them their checks, take them to the bank so they can cash them.

And I pick them up at their house and take them to the bus station, meaning I'd have to load up all their crap, check the house, find out what's missing and then tell them I want money for the towles, light bulbs, etc.

Then they're all going to say it wasn't them, I no longer have their last pay check, since it has to be cashed before they leave for Mexico, and no one is going to offer up the money anyway.

Sometimes we have the same workers, but I had such a bad experience with the ones I had last year, that I'm starting fresh this year.

So no returning workers.

And yes, it adds up!! Last year, I bought new lamps for the living room, towels, wash cloths, plenty of light bulbs, pillows, sheets, etc.

There are two towels left in one house and NONE in the other.

Last year I went out and stocked the houses with food. Spent over $300 bucks on groceries for them to have when they got here, and no one even said thanks for thinking of us.

This year, I'm going to give them some money, make them sign a loan agreement, take them to the grocery store to buy their own crap, and then deduct the "loan" from their pay check.

Try to be nice, but some people...

Good Morning Losers,

My house is quiet this morning. Everyone is at school and husband is at work. Silence is good.

I registered Mr. Middle for Kindergarten today. They are expecting about 15 in his class. I think that is a great number.

I am glad I missed the bug talk last night. I am a wimp.

DS6 rested pretty well last night and seems more like his old self today. He still doesn't want to eat, so I'll feel better when I can get some food in him, but I try not to worry too much.
