I still have a sick DH at home cramping my style. Right now he's being terribly productive as well playing a video game. We are well suited for esch other at least, slackers to the core.

I was busy feeding my kids cheetos and raw hot dogs for lunch.

Man I wish my mom gave me lunches like that. But no it was always ham and cheese with carrot sticks and milk.

Mmmmm, raw hot dogs. I wish I had some of those right now. I did eat some stale cheese balls though. They didn't quite do it for me. I'll have to go rummage through the kitchen to see if there's anything edible. I haven't gone to the store yet. We still have cat food so going to the store is not up there on the list of things to ignore 'til tomorrow.

That's the kind of stuff my kids usually get, but they happened to be with me in the grocery store today. They asked for hot dogs and cheetos, and I felt generous.

My DD woke early this morning and wanted a hotdog. So what's a mom to do? I put it in the microwave for her!

And for further update...I finally threw the pumpkin on my front porch away. It was getting soft in spots and I didn't want to have to clean the deck or find leaves to cover the mess!

Gave the kids a nice snack today of hot chocolate & popcorn.............really mommy wanted it & knew if she didn't share she would hear the whines of how that wasn't fair Wasn't in the mood to hear that today.
They want fish sticks & mac & cheese for dinner. Throw baking sheet in oven set timer & stir a pot a few times.............I think I can handle that today.

Actually both my kids have partaken of a handful or two of the dry food in their more formative years. It didn't kill 'em. I probably should've proofed that paragraph a little better for clarity. But that would involve pressing more buttons. It made me giggle when I went back & read it.

And stir a pot? The microwave mac & cheese is much more convenient & they can actually make that themselves.

What is going on? I am home from work and in my PJS already. DH is cooking dinner.DD who is at college just called to let us know her and her friends are looking for an apartment for next year. I told her I hope it comes with the money to pay for it also But as she says it will only be 650.00 a month. So I ask again where is the money coming from. She then tells us that her grandmother is going to pay. I guess DH mother has said she would pay but I told her unless she see the money first not to hold her breath. Her grandmother likes to be a pest and stir the pot.

I get to go home in 15 min. But when I get home I have to take out the trash...clean out part of the fridge and then change into normal clothes for my accounting class tonight. At least I did the homework right?
