Please I'm a rebel. I just put my hands in the bag and flipped it around the mats. Then I took them outside (had to be cold today ) grabbed my rattiest shoes, dumped the mats on the driveway and proceeded to stomp the excess water out of them. I'm really glad no one was outside to see that
They are now in the wash for their first go round (figures they have to be the kind that have to be washed on cold/gentle).
Just realized I'm gonna need to pick up a new mop now too
Guess I'll just use some of my Lysol wipes to clean the floor for now.

I loved Iceman and Slider. The volleyball scene.

I had a VHS of Top Gun that was always set to play at the volleyball scene. Oh, my. Val Kilmer was ripped.

I think we were all somewhat "hot" impaired in the 80s. I blame the Go-Gos and Bananarama. If that was what the girls were doing, of course the guys were going to pay us back.

Aww, I hope he feels better. I'm waiting for a call from the school nurse too. My 13 year old left this morning complaining about not feeling well, but I suspect that he's just tired. I suppose we'll see.

Well, 9:55AM school nurse called. Temp of 101, please come and pick your son up. So leave work early (thank God my boss is understanding!), get son, stop at grocery store where no less than 3 employees ask "what, no school?" Yup, I'm just a bad mom and don't send him Home, made him put on footie jammies and cuddle on the couch so now he's sleeping. Did the dishes, started dinner (sauce in crockpot), and just threw raspberry bars into the oven to bake Got DD off the bus from K and now I am taking a breather.

Hope your "crappy" day gets better.

I do the same thing....I am so cool when my husband is around.....but if he's not....I look through all the magazines and put them back!
