Just a warning for those who havent gotten the Valentines yet, Target was soooo picked over it was sad actually, the workers were trying to put it all back together but selection was awful, esp for boys, and people(or kids) actually opened some boxes and then put the back on the shelf.

Don't remind me. I was the one traumatized at Wal-Mart on Saturday.

I made DH go with me yesterday evening and let the kids pick out their cards for the grandparents and us. I already have one for DH and for us to give the kids. DH said "wait here a minute" and walked to the other end of the display. I'm going to take a wild guess and assume that he was picking one out for me.

So, we're done. I have a small box of candy to give each kid and that's it.

Now I'm off to figure out how to get my poor soaking wet bathmats from the bathtub all the way to the washing machine. garbage bags

Dont forget to use tongs to put them in the garbage bags. Then, don't forget to buy new tongs.

Have I told you all how much I love my new coffee maker

It's a Loser's best friend...no muss, no fuss, 30 seconds and you have a fresh cup of wonderfully brewed coffee...

My parents have one of those. You can also do tea in it too. Some tea companies made the pods for that machine. So I can always have a fresh brewed cup of Earl Grey while doing my laundry.

:lmao:
I am greatfull that none of "that" came up onto the floor, just water.

Nothing says "Happy Valentine's Day" like a picture of Davy Jones.pirate:

Every page of this thread is full of tag-worthy material. See above.

I want one of those. VERY cool.

Linty, how are you feeling?

OMG...Foreigner is on...how did I ever consider them "hot"????

The mullets are just terrifying

Lara, that is a question that will haunt me the rest of the day.

Making the kids lunch - "She thought they were hot?"

Starting a load of laundry - "Really, Foreigner? HOT?"

Making dinner - "I wonder if she has impaired vision."

Snuggled in bed - "Seriously? Nah.... she must have been messing with us, because FOR REAL, Foreigner, HOT?"

I did children's church yesterday and there was a boy in there with a mullet!!! I live in the sticks but still... I wanted to tell the mom, "The 80's called and they want their hair back." But, then that wouldn't be very Christian of me, so I just thought it.

:snooty: It was the 80's. I was young and dumb. I also thought the following were hot:
Prince
George Micheal
That guy from Tears for Fears
That guy from A-Ha

Okay, George Michael WAS hot (even if he was a little :cutie: ), and so was the guy from A-Ha.

Ooohhh, yeah, Jake Ryan

How about Tom Cruise back then....too bad he's so short.

I loved Tom Cruise back in the Top Gun era. I swear that's why I fell for DH--looked just like him!
We saw Top Gun on USA or something a few weeks ago and I was so excited--it was the volleyball scene. Anyone remember that one? My DD laughed at me, but she appreciated it all the same, I'm sure. Just didn't want to agree with me! (What can I say--she's 13--I can do no right some days)

Please I'm a rebel. I just put my hands in the bag and flipped it around the mats. Then I took them outside (had to be cold today  ) grabbed my rattiest shoes, dumped the mats on the driveway and proceeded to stomp the excess water out of them. I'm really glad no one was outside to see that :lmao:
They are now in the wash for their first go round (figures they have to be the kind that have to be washed on cold/gentle).
Just realized I'm gonna need to pick up a new mop now too :headache:
Guess I'll just use some of my Lysol wipes to clean the floor for now.
