Say what you will about Robin Williams...If Mrs. Doubtfire were set in New York and had a Christmas theme..I'd own that DVD.:o :o :o :o

Keep safe people!

We're getting MAJOR thunder & lightning here.
And some rain has started. I sooo hate lightning!!

OK, I'm gonna unplug this PC!

STAY SAFE!!!

Hello!!!!! Sorry I haven't been hanging around a lot but real life has been a little busy. I haven't had a chance to read anything since Friday night. I promise that I will try but have a feeling that it will take some time. So who wants to give me the Cliff Notes version?

LOL Jeannie... I like Robin Williams a lot no matter what city the movie takes place ;)

Stay safe Sherry... I have a surge protector so I know I would have been fine but we did get a really nasty storm! I haven't seen hail that big ever in my life!!!

Betty, well Apolo came and I scared him off... the rest is much of the same :)

Sorry to do this to you all, but the storms are just starting here. We have a Tornado Watch until 10. Will get on after that.

Bye

PLEASE stay safe everyone!!!!

Betty so good to see you!!!!!

Stay safe friends!!!! Check in ASAP!! We'll be worried about you!!!

Hey...do any of you yayas do natural cleaners? Here's my question...... My family is chemically sensitive. We use only homemade cleaners with natural ingredients. They are FABULOUS! Except....Anyone know a natural way to get rid of mildew or rust? We have tons of iron in our water and if dh doesn't keep up with the filter and softener we get orange shower walls and a little mildew in the caulk. It only happens like 2 or 3 times a year so I have broken down in the past and gotten bleach. But now that I have friends to ask...and I just cleaned the baths.....I thought I would ask......

WOW, that got long....sorry :)

::::Karen bounces in singing a song and dancing all over the place:::::::

Jennifer Im looking for you on Google and the only thing I can find are sites that sell natural products for what you want to remove. I will keep looking for you. I wish I had my dads book on uses for baking soda because Im sure it would have had something like that in there.

Awwwww thanks Jennifer!

Jennifer try this site. It has a lot of natural ways to remove things

Okay I also just read a remedy for formica countertops and rust that I think would probably work on tile too as its not as porous as formica. Take a bowl of baking soda and a bowl of water. Dip your rag in the water then in the baking soda and scrub in a circular motion. Wipe off with another clean cloth. It will can end up leaving a bit of a grit but when you run the shower that should wash right off.

Oh that is great news Karen!!! So glad to hear you ate twice in one day :bounce: :bounce:

I will be staying online as much as I possibly can throughout the storm. I have a surge protector so I am not too terribly concerned. But I will say if I go offline, I will make sure I call someone here that I know will be home and make sure they let you all know how I do if I lose power :)

Hi, girls!! Sounds like the brownies I left were well received!!! Is everybody friends again? Catfights make me nervous. Sorry you haven't heard from Apolo, Kim. Men don't usually carry grudges, so I don't think he'll stay away long.

Great to see you again, Betty!! Hope you can spend a little time with us soon.

Karen, that is WONDERFUL!!!!! I'm doing a happy dance for you too!!!!

Let me know when you want me to make you a batch of brownies!!!

No rain here yet and I haven't heard anything about severe weather in this neck of the woods. Of course, they didn't know the snow was coming either the time we got snowed in AFTER we all got to work!!!

So are most of you working girls off tomorrow? I'm not, there's not much to do in the office and I have a feeling I'll be DISing most of the day again.

Beth

Thanks for the info Karen...I'd been interested in getting more enviro friendly stuff-already get the "green" TP though-teehee!

I didn't know about electrical storms and staying offline etc.-keep us posted.

OK-anyone watching Beauty and the Beast besides me?:teeth:
Even if I own a DVD-which in this case I don't-I still sometimes watch when it's on TV-something about sharing an event with a nation full of people watching the same thing-you know...

it's starting again!:):):o :o

Hi all! I am here but doubt I'll be around much longer. My stomach is bothering me. I just feel yucky.

Karen, that is great that you ate twice woohoo!!

As far as RC, I think I will have at least 3 and possibly 4 if dh can come.

Well...I'll be back...stay safe!

Michele I hope you feel better!!!

CrazyBoutDisney I cant wait for the day that I can take you up on your offer. Im hoping this is the begining of a very good phase for me!

"...Tale as Old as Time....Song as Old as Rhyme...Beauty and the Beast...."

Sherry we have seen that movie so many times since we got the DVD that I think I can probably do the dialoge to it ROFL. Are they showing the version with the new song in it??
