Betty - I used to blow dry my hair straight for an hour every morning when I was a teeneager, then I started work. It's been naturally curly ever since!

Good morning all. Well the teens are off and I am sure Allison didn't do her English homework again. I guess summer school is going to be in her future. Doesn't seem to matter whether she is grounded off the computer or television. She will just make do in her bedroom. She was the one that you put in time out and then she would have a great time entertaining herself. Wish I could take the phone away except she doesn't use it. Please someone out there tell me there is hope in her futre just not summer school.

Have to go to DMV to get my driver's license renewed sometime today. Gee this is starting to sound like deja vu. (Bonnie) I better make sure that the one closest to me is still open. Oh well, got some other things to do. Will check in this afternoon.

Got a sick dd at home today and a million errands to run. Isn't that always the way? She has this bug that is flying around here...stomach pain, nausea, headache. I swear I thought she had this once already! UGH...my kids catch everything that is out there! Geez when they were really little I would be in the ped. office twice a week!!! When she called her riding instructor and said she couldn't ride yesterday I KNEW she was sick!

Awwww...... you do like me! You referred to me not only as an "adventurous hostess" but also a "little wild"! Can I have a hug?? I think your DD and my son would get along great - both seem to hate to do homework! And he is also the type that can entertain himself with just about anything. He is participating in a Reading Competition tonight against several schools. Unfortunately the team he is on did not follow through on their promise to read X amount of books - he read 8 but the others only read 2 or 3......

Have you ever tried Pain BusterR2 for your back? That sometimes numbs the pain and gives you a little comfort. My DD is a dancer/gymnast and she uses that on her back and legs.

That dinner with the Guys was fantastic last night, wasn't it??!!

That was so sweet of them to hire that stretch limo with the hot tub. I can't believe we got pulled over by the police! And the judge in court was sooooo funny, wasn't he?

My DD was home from school sick yesterday!

I know you long for the days of having older kids - but I must confess that I really miss going in the toy aisle and checking out all the latest in children's fashions! The stores never had that kind of selection when my 2 were little. And although my two teens still go shopping with me, they are still in that frame of mind of finding what THEY want and then they are ready to leave. (And they try that sneaky trick of saying that they left their wallet at home! )

Good morning everyone. Hope you're all doing well today. Just wanted to see if anyone has picked up the latest Lilo & Stitch CD. I saw it the other day, but didn't buy it (yet). Kim, have you picked it up? I had to LOL tho. Two songs on the original soundtrack are on this CD too (Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride & He Mele No Lilo). There's also a few new Hawaiian songs on there too. More music for Kim to hula by.

Hi Michelle, not too bad thanks - how's yourself???
I just remembered - somebody said their DH had bronchitis and I can't remember who but I get it and one thing that really helps is inhaling peppermint and camomile in hot water for ten minutes - keep your eyes shut though. Peppermint oil's the best but ripped up teabags are good too. I'm into natural remedies!
Pam I love those aisles too! I don't have children but I'm an aunty. And I'll be using that excuse forever more!
My sympathies Betty, I was just like your daughter. I don't think I've grown out of it yet...

Well, looks like I'm going to have to put my black spandex and leather boots aside for the day... (darn) I'm on 3rd gr. sub duty today. My sweetie is down stairs working out and will be on the ice for hours today so ya'll leave him alone now ya hear. In fact, I think I'll place a few meeeean looking body guards at any and all entrances to the basement so as to eliminate any possible man stealing.

Okay, time to go. It's raining here today! Woooo hoooo!! Finally!!

Oh! oh! It's out?!?! The second Lilo and Stitch is out!?!? I looked for it the other day and couldn't find it. Yahoo....gotta go look again. They can put He Mele No Lilo on there a dozen times, I could hula to that one all day long....love it!

Whew!! What a night!! Pam, that hot tub in the limo was the greatest, wasn't it??!!! Sorry I splashed so much water out, I have a bad habit of bouncing when I'm haveing such a good time. The judge WAS funny, I don't think that was the first bottle he'd been nipping on that night!!

Laura, your Teddy Bear is just adorable! Can we have that picture poster-sized for our room? Carol wants to have him in our room and I know you don't want to give him up. Besides, I'm allergic and don't want to end up looking like Rudolph!!

Carol, the stereo is being shipped-should arrive sometime today, I've got the CDs here, so we can throw a huge party tonight. Hope I can stay awake. After Pierce and Sean tucked me in last night (and you thought he just went to the potty, didn't you Bonnie!!! Hee-Hee!!!), I couldn't sleep for all the noise coming from the basement! I just KNOW there had to be some BIG cats down there with all the caterwauling! And the yowling would wake the dead!!! My goodness, I think we had better call animal control. Anyway, I've laid in a good stock of White Zinfandel and I think Marilyn took the good crystal stemware to the kitchen for the cabana boys to wash up. Just hope they don't break it all.

Pam, you did such a great job on getting the meat yesterday, that you are relieved of that job for the rest of the week! We'll let some of the other Ya Yas get the groceries for us. Besides, the tank had to go to the body shop for a wee bit of repair. Which reminds me--did you see the shoulders on that guy at the body shop??!! And those narrow hips, Whooo-eeeeeee, I had to pull out my fan! He can work on my body any time! CAR body, I mean my CAR's body!!!!!

Well, better spread some paperwork out on my desk, here, so it looks like I'm working. Call me if you need me!

Carol, I agree, the stereo would be great! We have to play music to dance to (no hula music allowed up here, got it? That's the last thing we need.."him" doing the hula ) And yes Carol, we can have little bear in our room.

Ok Beth, bring the stereo! And, would you care to tell me missy, just how whipping cream got all over the carpet in our room, AND in Sean's mustache? He had to take a shower before he went down to have cookies with Carol.

Awww, I missed the party last night. I love having company come over. Well, I sure hope the Swolphins stop by again some time when I'm home.

Waaaah, Bonnie won't share Pierce. Betty, Jennifer, Nancy....tell Bonnie we all have to share houseboys.

Don't worry Betty, there definately is hope. My son was a lot like Allison. I could have just kicked him in his butt at times. But, he is very ambitious and successful now, so hang in there. You never know when they will surprise you.
