So yesterday afternoon was not good. I'm typing a response into LTP, and receive an error from my internet service provider. I check my satellite modem, and I'm down!

One hour long call to tech support, and nothing fixed, they claim nothing wrong at their end. Say we need a tech out to fix something on our dish. Call and the earliest he can make it out is Wednesday!

No internet til Wednesday!!!!!!!! No DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, so what happens. Sometime last night, everything seems to be working now. I didn't do anything?!?!?!

So, I'm having him come out on Wednesday anyway just in case.

What a day!

Well, besides my internet fiasco, pretty well actually! We're going Disney next month!!! It's all good!

I don't know what it is but our boys almost never fight!

We think the big problem is they each want to be the boss, of the other! We keep telling them to mind their own business, but they want to know the other's business all the time, then the arguments start. Fortunately, only words.

We went through that last month! (Except it was going to be a week before they could come out!) I was on the phone for over half an hour - unplug this, plug this in, move this, try this and nothing worked! She swore there were no major outages and it was a problem with just us. She scheduled the appointment. And then that night - it's back up. Spoke to a few friends in the area and they were all down at the same time!

I'm glad you're back up and running!

Knowing you have an up-coming Disney trip always seems to make other things go a little smoother doesn't it!!

I'm glad you're back up and running!

It's funny how companies never like to admit that something is wrong on their end. I believe they think people will demand refunds for the few hours it was out (would be like 60 cents for us!) and cost them money. If they blame it on you, no refund.

Or it could simply be that the lower level customer service employees have no idea they are even having a problem, since no one tells them.

It is a borderline fracture

Worse than a sprain but not quite a break
but it is in a cast a Purple one for 3 weeks

So not the worst, but not the best. 3 weeks isn't too bad. Hopefully it heals well.

Yeah I know but look at the positive

THE BOARDS ARE FAST and useable again

the threads will be there in small versions so you can still go back and read
and new ones can be started.
Iknow it is sad but I would rather the boards move along than have to wait 4 minutes for a page to open and that was with Road Runner
can't even imagine how bad it was on dial up

I think I would rather have LTP Part 100, than to go back to the slow times! At least it gives everyone the chance to get the top post count, and the REAL LTP before a thread is closed!
