DH's daughter is very well off. She owns 300 hundred acres, the land works so she makes money. She doesnt work.

I did mean baby. Don't have full details but it sounds like the mom broke her foot.

Oh no! I hope that she's OK.

I'm do my maths before I decide. There's still 2 price increases between now and when we go. I normally have a look at the menus and have a spreadsheet to work out what we would possibly eat and then decide from there. The only thing about staying at the BCV is the lack of convenient hearty breakfast fare. When we stayed there, that was the only thing wrong with it. If we were staying in a 1 bedroom with full kitchen facilities, we would probably get some bread and oatmeal and cook it in. That being the case, we may look at the QSDP and cost it out from there.

If we didn't have full kitchen, I would want to eat breakfast out most mornings and then its a completely different equation again.

And we quite like the QS options at Epcot. Sunshine Seasons at The Land is great, as is Tangerine Cafe at Epcot.

I know about crunching the numbers on the Dining Plan, I do it every trip and we always end up with way too much food and spending at least $100 more minimum than we would if we just ordered appetizers and one entree between the two of us.

We could always work out a deal for you to get a 1br, however I could only get a certain number of points for BCV at 11 mos, at 7 mos, I have a ton of points, and who knows, Fran and I might decide to do a split stay, and won't use all 300 BCV points. The BCV are 29 for Sun-Th and 33 for Fri-Sat. With 291 or 300 points there is a lot of nights available. Have you thought about how many nights you'll be at WDW?

I'm here, although typing funny.....

I am in the emergency room. Arline felt "funny" tonight and we took her to emergency and it seems they will be admitting her.

I hope Arline is okay.

My emergency is hardly an emergency compared to yours.

We have a little bath tub that was converted to a fish pond outside. The fish have been systematically dying over the last 2 weeks and I figured we needed to clean it out. Whilst we were doing that, DH accidentally crunched my 3rd finger. Tears were involved (mine). I'm going to be horribly bruised tomorrow.

Oh no! I hope that she's OK.

We haven't decided yet. I broke the news to DH today that this DisMeet in October 2013 was firming up as definite. I don't think he'd realised that we were serious about it. Might be a question to pose on that thread and see what people are thinking...

Sharing a tea cake! The recipe is going up on that Diner's thread soon.

Just cooking dinner. Will be back. We're having gnocchi...nothing special; but I should have breakfast to share.

This morning, we headed out for breakfast. We were taking some friends out for breakfast - him because it is his birthday on Monday and her because she brought me my Hooter's shot glass from NYC so that I can claim the Hooter's sign category on the Scav Hunt.

(Yes - I know, I'm sad....)

We got there earlier than them...but they weren't too far behind us.

This place is known for it's coffee. They roast the beans on the premises and are completely serious about coffee. I normally order a Latte here, normally style extraction...

2011August27ScavengerHunt018.jpg

Our friends decided they wanted to try a siphon extraction...You heat up the water and the heat pressure pushes it up to the top where you then wait for the water to hit 95 C before adding the coffee (freshly ground, of course).

You then take it off the heat and let gravity pull the liquid back into the bottom beaker. This is how it is served....and they do bring you a glass for you to pour the coffee into to drink.

Breakfast was also ordered and served.

DS ordered the bacon and eggs. He demolished it before I could take a picture.

DH and his friend ordered the Slow cooked Oatmeal served with poached quince, panela cane sugar, vanilla bean yoghurt and mint.

She ordered the bagel served with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, Spanish onion, capers and mini gherkin.

I couldn't go past the French Toast with berry and rhubarb compote, served with lemon curd and labna.

All in all, a very successful breakfast with friends!

Yes, I know I'm trying to be good. But I didn't have lunch as a result of the late breakfast and have had a small bowl of gnocchi for dinner.

They're admitting Arline to the hospital tonight. It's after 2AM I don't know when we got here but going home.

I hope things for both of you, and your friends get better.

Not to be mean, but since I woke up at an odd hour again, PIO I can't help blaming you for my craving of a mid night snack. :headache:

I love you too :teeth: .....how's your midnight snack?

I'm heading to bed early tonight. Just gone 9 am but given that I was up with DS till 2 am last night, I think I'm justified.

Sleep well too. Catch you in the morning.

Good Morning! I will pop in later. Alison hope your friend is doing better today. Pio breakfast looks good. Well your crunched finger isnt the one that pushes the camera button. Hope your finger feels better. We are helping friends move today. Have fun today.:thumbsup2

I hope Arlene gets better soon.

I don't usually do the DDP except during the Christmas and NYE season when prices go up and they don't take the TIW card. When I do get DDP, I tend to book buffets because I would want soup or salad over the dessert.

It was tough but I fought the erge, and slept a couple more hours instead.
