The Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 Pirate & Princess Party thread!

We were there on Jan. 26th and got in around 5:00 p.m. without any problem. There were lots of people there early. They gave us a wristband and we were set to go. When 7:00 rolled around all the cast members were checking to be sure that people getting on the rides had wristbands to be sure they were there for the P&P party. Have fun!

Sorry if this question has already been asked...I did not read through the entire thread please forgive me. If you enter the park early/4-5 pm will you miss the red carpet and fog? I would not want my 2 DD'S to miss that. Also, what places are open to eat during the party. I have read that there is limited food but what is open? Thanks for any advice and help!! We have decided to go this Friday 3-2 to take our kiddos and I just wanted to check on this before we go. We will only be there for 1 night, I know BOO HOO but 1 night is better than no nights! Thanks Again, Becky

When we went on 2/26 Monday we got there around 4:30 (missed the boat had to wait LOL) there were carpets laid out on the right hand side of the enterance no fog till it gets dark though. Definate wrist band checks starting around 6:45 or so... it was AWSOME how low crowds were, but i totally agree food is few and far between...

The fog + red carpet was there when we arrived at 7:30... not sure if the fog would be going as early as 4 or 5:00.

I will say, we were disappointed in the food selections too. We couldn't get into Tony's or LTT, and had to eat at Cosmic Ray's... not too bad , but not a favorite.

Can't believe it's already March, and the countdown to the final PPPs!

LIZNBOYS, I will really miss this thred! Thanks so much for putting it together, and THANKS to all who provided such excitement and GREAT information!

Those that eat at cosmic rays that night (after 7pm) was it full menu??? Or just burgers? we went monday night but just eat at casey's corner... not impressed we really don't want to pay the $$$ for table service, we never have been table service kinda people, but if cosmic rays doesnt' have full menu then we will need to be there earlier...

The same for us too on 01/26... NOT a full menu. It probably wouldn't have seemed as bad if we could have ordered more than hamburgers... DH isn't into Mexican food, so we didn't venture over to the Mexican place in Adventure Land. I was hoping at least Harbour House would have been opened.

We ate at the Plaza at 5:30 on our P&P night and it was PERFECT. Also, you can find Captain Jack right after the bridge that leads into Adventureland. (Near Aloha Isle) There will be a sign letting you know he's there and what the wait is. At the very beginning of the party on 2/23 the wait was already 80 minutes, so we passed.

I already have tickets but am wondering if it will sell out due to it being the last party.

Holy Cow! I was there the 5th, and seeing your siggie, I clicked your photo links and you were infront of me in line for photos at Cindy's carriage!!!

I actually ended up going twice because the first one was so good and fun and exciting and no lines and characters!
wow I need to calm down.
However, I did attend the 3/2 and 3/5 party. The characters, dance parties, and walk on rides were my favorite parts.
It was hilarious how rides like Space Mountain, Splash mountain, and BTMRR had wait times posted as 5 minutes but it only took that long to walk to the loading dock because you walked right on! It was great!
I hope they have it again next year.
