The Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 Pirate & Princess Party thread!

Anyone else going March 8th? Its the last night of the party, do you think it will be very crowded? I havent bought the tickets yet (waiting for income tax check ). I can't wait to go, my kids don't even know were going to Disney World!!!! I can't wait to see the look on their faces!

My family will be there. Almost all of my tiny cheer team will be there too. When I went online to look last month, it was showing online kids tickets as sold out for that night. If that is still the case, call and order them. They did have kids' tickets available but just not online. A lot of cheerleaders will arrive that night so it may be crowded. Just an FYI.

I just got called disney and ordered my p&p tickets, they weren't sold out yet although the cm got a error on the page and tried to call the ticket place(whoever they are? ) but they were already gone. He did say the tickets appeared on my reservations. He said he'd call me tomorrow if something did'nt go through. I guess I shouldn't have waited!!

Yes, you can pick your tickets up anytime from any of the 4 parks. Just go to any open ticket window and they'll need your confirmation number and ID. I picked mine up at MGM the day before we went on 1/29. Have fun! The walk-on rides were the best part for me. We did all the rides in about an hour and a half, had some hot dogs at Casey's and watched the fireworks. It was a great night!

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I had trouble the night I ordered and they thought it wasn't going through also. The CM kept trying so I ended up with 20 tickets instead of 5. I was also charged for the extra 15 tickets. It was on my debt card right before Christmas. I was . It took several phone calls but I was refunded all the money since it was not my mistake.

Does anyone know if there is a time they don't let you into the park? I have Le Cellier ADRs @ 7:30 and plan on going to the party after that. I suspect I will be there after 9:00.

I hate to sound rude but why would you want to go so late to the P&P party? You will end up missing the fireworks and possibly the parade. Please don't take offense I just thought maybe you did not realize how much you would miss? Good Luck!!

Agreed. I wouldn't want to pay so much for tickets only to miss more than half the party.

Little Miss Liberty, We are doing the same as you! We have ADR's for 7 pm at Le Cellier and will be going over to the P and P party a bit later. What time are the PandP fireworks? I thought they were later in the evening?
We are going late because we have two special needs children with us, and want to miss the crowds going in at 7:30 - tough to manuever with the wheelchairs. Our kids stay up late anyway, so we plan to stay til closing.
But we dont want to miss the parade and fireworks! Is there a link to the hours for the parade and fireworks?

Thanks jcemom! I see that the last castle show is at 11:15 so we wont miss that either! Personally,we are hoping to miss some of the larger crowd and long lines for treasures/characters by being there later.
We are having an easy day of shopping at DD, a rest at our resort, and then dinner at Le Cellier and then going to the party. Just makes more sense for us.
But then, we never rush to do a lot during our trips with DD6 and friend's DS6. They just can't tolerate early morning commando touring (early rising = seizures for them both) and do better with late evenings.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I just don't want to give up the ADR's at Le Cellier as I booked it before I found out about the P&P party. It's the only one during my stay. I just want to try the soup at Le Cellier anyways and then we will be out of there. Not a full meal.

We went on February 1st. We had dinner at LTT. We thought it was great. DD7 and DD8 liked the treasure spots, but after the fireworks they wanted to do rides only. The parade, castle stage show, and fireworks were phenomenal. But the best part was the rides. No waiting - at all. We rode anything and everything at will, especially later in the evening. It was a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely look for a ticketed event like this on our next trip.

Yesterday as a totally surprise/spur of the moment thing, we planned a WDW trip for March 2nd-7th. Its a pretty short trip, but well worth it since I'll get to go to the P&PP and since going to WDW for any length is better than not going at all.

We're going to the party on march 2nd.
It should be fun!
