We got our tickets in the mail Thursday for 2/23. Look for the sparkliest pirate you've ever seen and that will be us with DD9.
Thanks! I have a feeling that it is going to be busy. There will be a lot of cheerleaders arriving in town. There are 3 large cheer competitions in town that weekend.
Do they have high speed access at the Beach Club Villas?? Hopefully they do so I can post when I get back from the party.

The fireworks for this party are great. We are staying at the Contemporary right now and last night they were practicing them. We thought they were as good or better than wishes. They have a lot of really cool firework effects I haven't seen at other times in the show. The music we could hear was really good. We are looking at trying to get back for one of the parties after seeing the fireworks.
Silly question, does anybody know if the shops on Main Street will be open that night?

Say it ain't so?!?!? I dread facing cheerleaders after reading all about Pop Warner week. Maybe they will be busy doing other stuff, or most didn't spend the extra money for the P&P tickets.
Went to City Hall at MK yesterday, and got the map and schedule for the Pirate & Princess party, so here it is:

I coach cheer. There are 3 competitions that weekend only UCA All-Star Nationals is on Disney property. There is a competition at the civic center and somewhere else too. UCA cheerleaders stay at the ASSP and CBR. I heard the other competitons have kids staying at the Nick Hotel. We are bringing 7 squads. I coach Tiny cheer ages 3-5. Most families with kids on my squad already have tickets to P&P party. The UCA cheerleaders compete at MGM, WWOS and possibly another park this year. The cheerleaders will be busy on Saturday and Sunday for the most part. Many will arrive on Thursday as most teams have practice there on Friday. From what I've read, most of the cheer competition stuff begins that Saturday, so hopefully that means most of them won't start to arrive until Friday, therefore missing the 8th party. I think you're probably right about them not wanting to spend the extra money for the party too, makes sense to me anyway.![]()
Me Too!! Can someone tell me what dates the cheerleaders will be there? Trying to plan which night to go! ThanksI hope more rides are going to be open than what is listed on the maps!
Well, we can't see the Fantasyland or Frontierland attractions, they're cut off. The rest looks pretty much the same as MNSSHP. I'd hope that all of Fantasyland will be open, as well as BTMRR and Splash Mts.
