OK, I upgraded my anti-virus. Then it took 4 hours to back up some of my files.

BUT, I'm back. But now it's beer and pizza time, tomorrow dentist first thing in the morning. I'll probably be back Sunday night.

I'm in Heaven right now, the Academy of Country Music Awards is on!!:cool1::dance3:

You did use sunscreen, right? Do I want to ask how your knees ended up that way?

Yes, I did. I bent over to spray my legs, making the shorts cover my knees. When I stood back up, my knees were exposed to the sun. Briliant, aren't I?

I can see that happening. No an unusual thing at all. No. Really. ;)

Are you speechless? :scared1:

I think the earth just tilted a little! :scared1:

I know it did. :scared1:

By the way -- how was everyone's weekend? I attended two wedding showers for my son and his bride-to-be. She has a HUGE family -- all very nice. I need an extra day to recover. :)

Today, I have to worry about my younger DS taking the stupid Math TAKS (standardized testing in TX). Reading test starts tomorrow.

Oh, and in case you missed it, out Texas A&M Aggies women's basketball team will be playing in the NCCA women's final championship tomorrow night. :cool1:

The national media is fixated on Notre Dame beating UConn women, and how sad for the UConn women to end their winning streak. And how ND beat Goliath. And yada, yada, yada. Hello -- remember us? We beat Baylor AND Stanford. :cool1:

Sorry -- vent over. Resume normal DISing. :thumbsup2

Is PK locked in a barn on her farm?

Pakey, how is Andy? You never told us why you haven't talked to your brother in so long.

Is Alpha finished unpacking?

Did anyone else watch DWTS last night and see Maks and Kirstie fall?

Did Kim ever finish her trip report?

Did GP go off to pilage?

Are Scotlass and Wickey up to shenanigans?

What is the meaning of life?

:confused3 :confused3

Snap, I think baby V knows the meaning of life. She certainly seems pretty content. It might have something to do with looking at your hands because she does that a lot lately.

Pakey, I would also like to know a bit more about the lunch with your brother.

Snap, I think my knees became sunburnt from sitting in a chair, feeding the baby.

Yes, we are unpacked. And the laundry is finished. Well, the beach laundry is finished, laundry itself is never finished. :headache:

The aquarium was lots of fun! We went on a Thursday, so there wasn't a lot of people. One school group and one adult daycare group. The school was loud, but that's how kids are. It wasn't a big deal. And, if you think about it, we were a school group, too. I think S had the most fun. She loved it! I think she would have climbed in the touch tank with the rays if she could have. She, also, would have happily climbed in with the dolphins. DS, letter C, had the best moment, though. While outside, S said, "look at that school of fish." C, "Where? In the water?" DH, "No, floating in the sky where you usually find fish." We teased him about that the whole weekend. Where do you think the fish are, son!

The beach itself was obnoxiously windy. The kids had fun playing in the sand, but the wind was too much. We've been there when it's windy before, but not like this. I'm pretty sure we all ended up windburnt. DH had enough and we left. We came home Saturday instead of Sunday.

But, they had fun Saturday night, too. Those of you on facebook saw the little video they made with the doll. That doll had been through a lot more before that.

And, Sunday... we stayed home. I saw on the news Monday that a small pipe bomb was found less than 2 miles from our house. A teen was walking his dog and found it on the side of the road. The bomb squad came and diffused it. No one was hurt and I don't think there was really much danger. Still, kinda crazy to have something like that close to our house.

I'm here! Big missions on Farmville and Frontierville, so I've been busy. :surfweb: Also been busy in work. :dance3:

Glad everyone seems to be doing well, minus the sunburn of course. :) That doll video was creepy for sure, but awesome! :thumbsup2

So Snap, when is your next trip to AI? Anything before the last day? I was in Staples this morning getting PrincessK some notebooks and Wake Me Up When September Ends was on. I was rockin in Staples! :woohoo: Think I'm going to take PrincessK and my mom to see the Harry Potter exhibit at Discovery Times during the week of Easter break. Maybe we'll see a show too. Looking for tickets. Actually had Orchestra seats (although pretty far back) for Wicked yesterday. Before I could buy them someone else snatched them up.:mad:

Hope everyone else is well and will check in shortly. I've been reading here daily, just haven't had much to say, kind of like Kimmar. Best get Superman to fly around the planet and right the Earth once again. :lmao:

When is the wedding?? Good luck to your son with the tests!

I missed the video, I'll have to go look for it!!! I hate wind at the beach, it's so gross when it keeps blowing in your face - did you get to go in the water?

We might go to AI this Sunday if Paul can get tickets. Did you see the videos BJ made with his dog? hilarious!!!

I'm guilty of having a very boring life so I don't have much to post. I count on the rest of you to keep me busy, LOL!
