Well I believe we've elected a new president, still can't decide on a WA governor just like last time, obviously don't want our potholes fixed, but care enough about the terminally ill to let them commit suicide if they want to.

OMG! They just showed a crowd shot where Obama is giving his acceptance speech, and Oprah was crammed into the crowd along with the masses. For some reason that just totally cracks me up!!!

I did check the news earlier and they said Obama is in the lead. I'm not sure what the stats are with Prop 8 but I say VOTE NO!!

Obama won, McCain conceeded. I'm all for gay marriage! Why should they get to have the benefits of living together without all the fun of divorce?

Sunday night my bf and I were invited to a BBQ at his mom's new house. His half-brother and his girlfriend were there, his uncle, his older cousin and her husband and daughter and 2 more older cousins. His mom said that she was tired of renting a home and she found a model home for sale in the same neighborhood. She said some contractors were trying to sell it and she got a good deal and they just moved in recently. It's a really nice house and apparently has 6 bedrooms. She said the bedrooms are small but I didn't go upstairs (his evil stepdad was there and kept popping in downstairs every few minutes ).

My bf's mom loved the basket I put together and she and her family opened it right away and ate all the snacks. They were hungry from waiting for 2 of his family members to come back with more propane for the grill.

I got to know my bf's brother's gf a bit better. I didn't speak to her much beforehand. We kept making jokes and teasing his uncle. Oh and his bro and gf have "joint custody" over a dog whom they have named Shamster.

I wish we could vote on tearing down the stupid Viaduct... I wont even drive on the dang thing. Well.. Maybe the top, but NOT the bottom. I dont want to get smushed.

I am just DANDY thanks! My belly is growing by the day... my feet are swollen, and my b00bs are leaky. Oh... and I keep wetting my pants. Couldnt be better.

I almost cried when I read that Obama's grandmother passed away. Imagine what a bittersweet day this must be for him.

I drove by Costco last week and I saw a group at the corner of a busy intersection. They all had VOTE YES ON PROP 8 signs. Well then I see one teenage girl with a huge sign that says: NO ON PROP 8 and she is standing right next to them!! I thought she was going to get beat up! That's just ballsy and I could never do that.

Aww... if it helps I'm glad to hear that you and the babies are doing well. When do you get to find out the gender of the babies? If I were preggers I would want to know right away. I wouldn't be able to stand the suspense! I can't even stand not knowing what my Xmas gifts are!

My bf's uncle is a bartender on the weekends at the restaraunt. Well he doesn't know how to make a lot of drinks and they were telling us that some customers asked for a drink and he said: "hold on" and would check a book real quick. I laughed so hard and then I made a joke and said: "Could you imagine a lady ordering a sex on the beach and then he will say: OKAY! What time? I get off in 5 minutes!" and his whole family cracked up, including his uncle.

Wow, did she die today? He and McCain both made reference to her in their speeches, and I hadn't realized she'd passed away. I thought maybe it happened over the weekend.
