There are always so many threads about whether to make PS or not. I thought I'd start a poll to see just how many people are on which sides. I'm an "always make at least one a day" girl. What about you?

We usually make at least one a day because I just can't stand that many counter service grilled chicken sandwiches or burgers in one week. It is nice to know that I have a better meal planned at least once a day. For a 7 day trip I usually end up booking around 9 PS's. Usually on two days we will do a character breakfast and then a PS dinner and just snack at midday.

Usually only one or two, and only if I want to go to a character meal when I'm travelling solo.

It normally depends on when I am going. I usually don't make too many. I am going this month, though, during the New England April school vacation, so I did make 2 PS for a 6 day trip. I don't like to over plan the meals, I like a little spontenaity (sp?) Plus, I just bought into DVC, so I know I'll be going again this year, so there really weren't too many meals, I just had to have this trip.

I've only made three for our 8-night stay in May, but that's because we'll have a car and so will be able to access lots of off-site dining options. If we did not have a car, I'm sure I would have made made more PS arrangements. Besides, with young kids, I feel as if we will need to "wing it," and some nights would be best spent with take-out in the hotel room, just relaxing after a long day, instead of dealing with tired and cranky kids in a sit-down restaurant.

It depends on when we go. Usually we are there in very slow season and can get walkin seating at most places, so I only make one or two for the trip. This time we are going in a little more crowded time, so I am planning on making either a lunch or dinner PS for each day (just gotta narrow down my restaurant list!)

So far we only have 1 for a 4-day trip. MK is open til midnight 4/18 so that day is taken care of. Concourse Steakhouse. Now to decide on others. Since I got the DDE we will try more sit down dinners than usual. But since Beaches and Cream or ESPN club don't take PSs we have to wing it with them. Figuring that one for Sunday after we preview Soarin.

I usually make just a dinner reservation each day we are there and always at least one breakfast at CM. We eat counter service the rest of the time. We're just having to much fun to stop and eat a big meal during the day.

We are doing about about 12 for 10 days at WDW. I don't know that we will use them all (I do always call at least the day before to cancel, so I free the spot for someone else) but I like having the option. We want a lot of character breakfasts (CRT, PSB,... hopefully, Cape May, Donald's) a few regular bkfast at kona and Boma, and a handful of dinners (Boma, WC, Kona, Ohana's, Beirgarten and Le Ceillier). We are hoping to do Beaches and Cream on arrival night since we are staying at BC then and not going into the parks.
