Hhmmmm....llamas, moo-moos, Goofy, Trade Winds..My lips are sealed:teeth: I do believe I'll be in hammock, with a Bloody Mary or two in my sweaty little hands. I am just waaay to old to be doing that kind of stuff, so late at night. I think it's time for me to stay at the house and do some late night/early morning bed checks:scratchin

Oh man, how can you even think about a helicopter ride or, worse, a horseback ride this morning.... :jumping2: :( :crazy2: :faint:

Hey Ed and Ilovepcot, the police are here to ask you a few questions about the Llama

Ed is suspciously missing this day - Hmmmm.............

Hey everyone, I needed a little refresher course in who's who here at the house, but there are many missing from this list (AHEM: ILovepcot), its just of those who wanted to fess up who they were, so here it is for you all too - hopefully no one minds that I reprinted your info - but we I felt we all needed to get to know each other again and see who has what in common to generate some further discussions - AND for anyone else, please feel free to join in providing some info about yourself:

Hi everyone I'm Ed(Caribbean Soul),38 I've been married for 10 yrs this May we'll be celebrating our anniversary at WDW this year. We have 2 boys ages 5 and 2 and they cant wait to see Mickey in person the older one keeps asking how much longer. I work for as a C.O. tech for a major telephone company.

Doesney - My name is Holly, I am 38 years old(cough cough ahem) I have 2 wonderful kids a boy 7 and a girl 3. Happily (well, for the most part) married for nine years.
I work per diem as a PTA usually 2-3 days a week. My interests are traveling with WDW being #1 with cruising a close 2nd.

Annamonte - My name is Anna... I am 32 years old. Married for 9 years this month! My son John will be 7 next month and my daughter Elizabeth is 4. I am a stay-at-home mom, keeping busy in the school by volunteering through the PTO, I am 3rd Vice President. And after school, I am busy driving my kids to ballet, karate, religion classes... you name it! We love Disney... my kids wake up every day pretending to be at a different resort and/or park. Mind you, I have only taken them to 1 trip to Disney this past October, but they are ADDICTED!

TigrLvsPooh - I'm Erika, I'll be 31 years old next week , and I'm a stay-at-home mom to two boys... ages 2 and 4. DH and I have been married almost 6 years, and we're both obsessed with the DIS. Also, I'm very active in our local MOMS Club and planning to run for President in May. {GO ME!!}

ILoveDMB - My name is Traci-lyn, but I usually go by Traci. I just turned 22 last month (and I had a great time turning it). I am in my last semester of college, and I can't wait to graduate in May. Right now I am looking at medical schools and hope to begin applying soon, so I can enter in the Fall of 2005. I am an intern at my local hospital in infection control and during the summer I am the assistant manager at a restaurant on the beach.

GoofItUp - My name is Robyn and I am 27 years old. Married almost 6 years to a man who spoils me rotten. No kids for us at this time...I'm not ready to share the spoiling! I work as an Accountant by day (*YAWN*) but I am a part-time travel agent as well .

Goofy4Tink - Diane, age 54 (looks like I'm the oldie but goodie so far!!), been married for 15 years (second time around), have ds 30, dd 27, and dd 10. Stay at home but drive around to Irish Step classes, swimming, lacrosse, Scouts. Have 2 cats and a golden retriever. And I spend way too much time on the computer, here on these boards. WDW is my all time favorite place in the world to visit. In fact, we just bought DVC last fall.
Hi everyone!!

Suzannen - I'm in my mid-40s, we don't need to go into details, do we? Have been married 14 years (we dated for 7 following a first marriage right out of college for me) and have two daughters, one 23 and one 9. I work in philanthropy in NYC in Rockefeller Center and my younger DD and I are both totally addicted to Disney and DH is becoming a convert.

MOMTOMOOTOO - I am Laura from NJ and I have 3 wonderful adorable children 2 girls ages 7 and 4 and 1 boy age 2. Before becoming a SAHM I worked in the insurance incdustry and I am hoping to go back to work in September. I stumbled onto these boards in 1999 when planning a family first WDW trip. Well I guess we are hooked we've been back about 10 times since.
Sadly, my DH does not share my passion. He wants to take a disney break after out May trip

Castlegazer - Oh, I am 33, have a 2 year old son, a wonderful husband (married four years) and I am in corporate commercial real estate. I live in central MA like goofy4tink.

The cops are gone right...
party-smiley-004.gif
wow those llamas just dont wont to move, now I know why David Spade didnt want to be one.

Here castlegazer I think this belongs to you I found the llama chewing on it. I think it use to be a shoe.

And I dont know whose bra this is but one of llamas was wearing it as a hat.

castlegazer limps along over to the bar

Hey, that's where my shoe went - I didn't want to mention it as it was borrowed from TinkHappy - shhhh, lets just hide this over here, shall we.

saddles up to the poolside bar

A little hair of the dog. Trade Wind Please.

Hey, Ed. So I forgot you were a Daddy to two young boys, but I remembered you were taking them to Disney World in a couple of weeks. So whats your two year old up to these day? I keep telling people mine is working on all his skills for college, he challenges his Mom and Dad to drinking contests at the dinner table, he pounds jello shots (i.e. jello jigglers sans liquor mind you), he has a harem of little women at day care, he procrastinates learning and opts for playing instead. I think he is well on his way to being Ivy League potential.

Oh man he keeps us hopping, my older one never seemed to do half the stuff he gets into, he is going to be the one with the Skateboard and ramps I can just see it And just walk him into Dunkin' Donuts if you want free stuff, the girls in there love him "he's so cute...here take some munchkins" and he hides behind me like he's shy and smiles, waves and bats his eyes. I'm like "who are you".

A margarita for me on the rocks salt a little Grand Marnier splashed on top thanks

I keep watching our thread's view count- come on in people, strike up a conversation. There are many more housemembers here who would love to chat with you and buy you a drink at our house bar or provide an introduction to our own surf instructor. Just let your vacation imagination flow and put on a sarong and enjoy yourself.

the shy thing, yeah, the little schmoozers. I took my son to the bookstore last night for a meeting and low and behold Ann Leary (Denis Leary's wife) was there signing her new book, An Innocent, A Broad. We're friends with the extended family so it was neat to see her, but here's my son literally falling behind me trying to hide then not two minutes later he's running through her legs much to my horror as people were waiting to get her autograph and here I am trying to get what was a few seconds prior a very shy boy to stay still and come with me away from her while everyone is there telling me how cute he is.

Yup - schmoozers.

Well okay…..if you’re sure the cops are gone, I’ll talk.

As you already know, DH and I live in Disney’s back yard. We take advantage of this by visiting the resorts on week-ends….especially the ones with the best restaurants!

We live in a Victorian home that we restored and decorated ourselves. Love shopping…..not for clothes, but for unusual and beautiful things for our home. I’ve actually replaced a few of our windows with stained glass…..all by myself! Proud of that as I taught myself to do it!

No longer have little ones at home and I no longer (nurse) work. My time is my own. Often stay up all night playing on the computer and sleep late the next day. You’ll often find me on the lower deck catching a little sun or on the terrace in the shade reading….just depends on my mood. DH says I have it too good! Well, he has it awfully good, too. I cater to his every whim. Truth is, we’re really good to each other.

When folks first meet me, they say I remind them of “Julia Sugarbaker” from Designing Women. They quickly learn their error!!! It’s true that I have a soft southern drawl and unusually good manners BUT IT STOPS THERE! Hope YOU get the chance to see!!!!!!

Too cool ilovepcot...I hope to get there some day but not for awhile I'm enjoying this little slice of my life right now. :D

I'm not really "there" yet myself (age wise)......DH and I just chose for me to not work at this time. This decision came about mostly when we took on this old house to restore. DH just got so spoiled having home cooked meals made from scratch, laundry always done, a sparkling clean house and a cheerful wife. Sometimes I'll bring up going back to work and he just groans. Well okay.....I'll just pour another drink, head to the terrace and shut my mouth! :teeth:

OK so I'm jealous. :p

Stupid Lottery...I'll win some day...and I'll keep working at my job...not!

Oh, my dear!! You really need to stop all that nonsense. Clean house? (sparkling no less) Home cooked meals? Laundry done? You are giving the sahm's an ideal that is too high!! Come on now....step away from the washing machine. Put on that sarong. The laundry can, and will, wait. Man, am I glad my dh doesn't read these boards. I would have to change my housekeeping routines to actually doing some!!!

Can you all feel that breeze? The sunshine? Good morning everyone!! Let's get off page 3 and move on up!!

Suzannen sneaking back in house when she knows the coast is clear from the cops. After all, there is still that little issue of stolen money from the last house. We do know that TigrLvsPooh SAYS she won a trip to WDW, but do we have any real proof, yet? And, it's known that ilovepcot has been seen spending money like crazy at Home Depot and edcrbsnsoul is buying enormous amounts of lottery tickets.

Meanwhile, Castlegazer, goofy4tink, suzannen and MOMTOMOOTOO have been wisely limiting their small budgets to drinks and pool toys, so I think they're in the clear.

Since it's Friday should we plan a Luau for tonight's festivities? I'll bring my hula skirt!

Ooo, I am so there! Here's a pic from our last Luau (that's Ed in the middle there :hyper: )
