uh ya....I only wish....Never mind the body...if an Irish guy could only tan half that well. After a winter in New England I'm translucent. But the skirt now thats me.

We are all gorgeous and tanned - even this blond broad who resembles a lobstah more often than not in the summer - at our house in Hawaii.

But you gotta admit, that guy looks pretty funny in that picture. It gave me a laugh.

Oh, TINK???? My DH wants a word with you!!! Afraid I won't be joining you guys in all the fun on the island today. Being made to stand in the corner......something 'bout my new "cocky" attitude!!!!!!!

Ilovepcot, my sister also retired and is now living in Cocoa Beach -sold her house up here for a fortune (had previously sold a house in Atlanta and made a killing) so now she is sitting back enjoying life - I wish I was her sometimes - then I get real and remember that I would die if I was her (for sibbling reasons not because I wouldn't like to retire too). Her day consists of hopping down to the pool for a couple hours in the morning - walking the beach in the afternoon - going out to dinner at night. She's 50. She still does some consulting work and is itching to get back to full time work but then she looks off her deck out into the ocean and says, NAH, this life's just fine thank you.

So what does everyone have on tap for the weekend in the real world?

I have housecleaning on tap because, unlike my sister and Ilovepcot I have no time to do it during the week. Saturday is a big date night for my DH and me. We have a sitter, reservations for a schwanky restaurant.........we're very excited.

BUT OVERALL - I am looking sooooo forward to some sunshine, warmth, and a little grilling.

IRL I'm going to Boston College to watch my BIL nephew play baseball(he plays for St. Johns). And we are going to Tailgate going to have some beautiful weather,cant wait.

SUZANNEN....couldn't have tolerated my cruel and unusual punishment had you not been a dear and sneeked me the drinks and food! Could you *please* bring me another of those desserts with the coconut?

And CASTLEGAZER, I can't imagine being able to walk on the beach the way your sister does. Heaven!!! We don't even have our pool any longer....buried it due to all the frustrating upkeep! We did, however, put in a jacuzzi. DH doesn't stay in it as long as I do and I'm afraid to be left alone in it. We have ferns and palm trees all around it and I'm TERRIFIED of stepping out of it and onto a SNAKE!!!!! Being that your sister lives in Cocoa, do you visit her often so you can also visit Disney?

Have no idea what we're doing this week-end. If it turns out exciting, you'll be the first to know.

Going out to the Hamptons this weekend. They are saying we will actually have sun ALL weekend!

Happy weekend everyone. Nothing much doing here. Dh is leaving for Atlanta in the a.m. for a few days. So its just me and the 3 kids <----------- that would be them, manny, moe, and jack! If the weatherman is correct I will take them to the boardwalk on sunday.

Have fun and send me some extra drinks tomorrow around 5:00pm, I am sure to be toast by then.

Well, looky here.....it's pushing 3 a.m. I bet DH is asleep by now and "maybe" and I can successfully leave my corner! Gonna do it and see what happens! If you don't find me in a hammock with a pina collada in the morning, you'll know he's a veeeery light sleeper!

I have to get back to the mainland this morning and set up for a funeral at church. But, then...I'm off. Ed is going to have some nice weather for tail-gating. Have fun. And castlegazer...where's dinner? Sounds nice. Maybe dh and I should try that whole date night thing.

ilovepcot, thanks so much for the drinks. It was right around 5pm that I was staring to lose my patience with kids. We were at a brthday party at a very crowded park today and it was down right HOT. (finally Spring hs Sprung)

IRL St. Johns split the double header against BC they play tomorrow at noon for the third game. Man I missed alot not going to a big college and I'm not talking about the education,
