I just made ressies for two rooms at POP for February. My goal is to read this whole thread.

Now that I know where we are staying I can't wait to hear what you all have to say about this fabulous resort.

Thanks...I love that name too. It's not a very popular name and thats what I like about it mostly. I also have a Shelby and a Dakoda (both girls) everyone seems to think that I had a thing with vehicals and now Kendyll motor oil. My princess don't look like no Motor oil.... Mind you Shelby was named after the Shelby car.

Have you stayed at POP before? We haven't. Our last stay was at the ASM (suites). We loved staying there but wanted to try something different. Since I have three kids I need two rooms. We opted to go for two rooms at a value rather than squeeze us into one room in a deluxe.

Have fun. I happened upon this thread after making my res. for May, and I think I took about a week to read through it, I kept making a note of what page I left off on. Lots of good information and opinions to draw from.

Can anyone tell me which brands of water Staples will ship to Pop? All the water brands indicate limited shipping and I can't figure out which ones can be delivered.

Also- if I order the water one week in advance, is that enough time for the water to ship? I don't want to ship too early and have Pop lose it since I'm going during a busy time (Easter!!!)

I'm under the two week countdown now!!!

Have you stayed at POP before? We haven't. Our last stay was at the ASM (suites). We loved staying there but wanted to try something different. Since I have three kids I need two rooms. We opted to go for two rooms at a value rather than squeeze us into one room in a deluxe.

Personally we love POP. We are going back in September of this year. So now it's 5 of us in a room at POP. Next time we go (either 2008 or 2009) we are either going to get two rooms or get a suite. I'm hoping that POP will have their suites done by then. Your going to enjoy it. If you ned any help with anything just let me know.

just back from POP........loved it, no major bus waits anywhere, loved the POP jets and the pools, stayed preferred room cuz its all that was available and LOVED preferred, we were THE CLOSEST room to the food court/lobby/pool,,,,,it was super!!Bldg 10 room 0261,
We ordered a styrofoam cooler for $7 from garden grocer,worked great, we passed it on to someone at the pool as we left fo home

2. About $12 or so, free refills of coffee, soda, some juices, hot cocoa and (from what I hear) frozen slushies for the duration of your stay.

3. I think it's midnight.

You are correct!!! they have frozen slushies!!! coke slushie and raspberry!! Yummy!!!!!

I've never stayed at POP but all of Disney's coffee is the same. It's not very good. I always bring my own.

Typically Deer Park and Zephyrhills are the brands available for the WDW area. You can enter the zip code and the availability will be updated on Staples web page.

Please don't order a week in advance. That is too early. 2 days before arrival is fine. Our order has always been delivered the day after it is ordered so POP only has to hold it for 1 day.

Edited to add - After March 31, 2007, Staples will no longer have free delivery for Reward Members. This was brought up in a different thread but I thought it should be here as well.

The coffee in one word? Yuck. But there's a lot of other drink choices. And if you're going in the summer, those slushies are great on a hot day.

I am not too picky about my coffee and I can't drink the stuff at Pop. In fact I generally just use the coffee bags at home so I may bring some to use at Pop but I plan on getting most of my caffine with frozen Cokes.

I too have ordered Deer Park water from Staples and have found that they deliver the next day.

I just saw the note about Staples not having free delivery for Rewards members after March 31.... that forces me to order the water a week in advance. Will Pop hold the water for that long?

This is messing up my plans... I need to not stress about the small stuff, right?
