So, let me see...we'll be in the WORLD in 3 weeks. We have the Preferred AAA rate. I've requested 60's or 70's room.

Help me here. If I want to see fireworks, should I only request a top floor, lakeside room? Does it matter which decade, building, etc?

Are all of the rooms facing the pool noisy?

Please help me figure out what I should ask for!!! :confused3

I'm not sure of the exact time, but we had ADR's at 8AM and had no trouble getting there. I think they start running about 7 to 7:15AM.

Hi can anyone tell me if Pop do Froot Loops and Orange Soda? I Love them so much i got addicted to them last trip to WDW here in Scotland there are no such things as froot loops not even colored ring cereal and no drink tastes like orange soda

I can't say about the orange soda since I don't drink that flavor but they did have Fruit Loops in the foodcourt.

Do the POP rooms have coffeemakers in them, or do i have to lug my own from home?

You will need to bring your own or get the great food court coffee. ;)

Are you being sarcastic, or is the coffee there really decent?

I know everyone has different ideas about what a good cup of coffee tastes like. So, can ya'll be more specific about why it is not good ... is it too strong, etc.?

Thanks!

I would call it coffee flavoured water.

I think most DisneyWorld coffee is Nescafe....they may be sponsers but man oh man make a lousy cuppa joe. I read that there is a cappucino machine in the pop food court tho.

However, I like my morning cup of coffee BEFORE I get dressed.
so I guess I will pack my little coffee pot and bring my Starbucks.
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Thanks for the responses. :goodvibes

Since the building are T-shaped with rooms on both sides, I think you would have to be very specific to ensure you get a view of the fireworks. Asking for a "fireworks view" may work. You could easily walk around to the other side of the building to get a view.

Most of the buildings are set at a slight angle to the pools. The distance from the pool can vary quite a bit from one end of the building to the other. We were on the pool side, top floor, in the 50's but close to the far end. We didn't notice any pool noise. We also happened to be facing north (which I believe faces Epcot), but we weren't around at that time to check out the fireworks.

Thr WDW coffee issue is the ONE & ONLY thing every single DisBoard member agrees on 100%....IT is HORRIBLE!
The taste has nothing to do with coffee at all...There have been many threads based on this subject! The best I can say its Dehydrated, then fried, then REhydrated SWILL! :scared: Mixed with paint thinner!

I too bring my own small 4 cup Mr.Coffee & some of the premeasured Maxwell House packets!

:earseek:
You can purchase Froot Loops...and Orange soda seperately!!!!!!!!!
This is why I can never go to Scotland! I only go to places that have Fruit Loops available! ;)

Thanks for the info, everyone. I added 6 days at POP to our existing 10-night BCV vacation because of a conveniently scheduled work conference in Orlando. Can't wait to check it out!
