I just got back form a 12/10-14 visit. I thought Pop was great! We were in the 70's, second floor, bldg 6, rm 6238, lake view. If you see a picture of our building, we were right under the "4" in the 10-4 Good Buddy sign on top of the bldg. Our room was second from the end, so the stairs were right there.
Room was smallish but clean. There was a big wet spot right in front of the TV; we just put down a hand towel, and it was dry by the next morning.
On our second day, we had a towel "animal" in our window! Well, I think it was supposed to be a basket w/ holly and berries, so it wasn't actually an animal

. I saw lots of towel creations in people's windows - Chirstmas trees, butterflies, bears, etc.
We did hear the turbo toilets and showers above us if the bathroom door was open, but if it was closed it was no big deal. Never heard any people or TVs that I remember.
I never went into the food court. My sis went one morning for coffee and milk and said it was a zoo! We went in the gift shop a couple of times briefly. They had all their 2005 dated merchandise (except pins and holdiay stuff) for half price, as did all other resorts and DTD.
Check-in was quick. Luggage was a bit tricky. We drove over to the dropoff and someone came over to help us. I thought you couldn't get carts until she handed me a slip to sign about if the cart was not returned I would be charged $250. Oops! I then told her I wanted them to do the dirty work

, so she moved everything over to the caged carts no problem. It was nice to know that you can get the carts if you want. We had too much stuff, though, and we wanted to get to Typhoon Lagoon before it closed. We dropped our stuff off around 2:15 or so. When we got back to our room around 5 PM, it was all there.
Concierge was mostly helpful. They were able to change a Wed lunch ADR for me from Crystal Palace to Plaza Restaurant (yummy! gotta go back here next time!), and they quickly upgraded our park tickets from 4 day hoppers to 10 day premium (for only $178 each!!!). She also checked us out so I didn't ahve to go stand in the other line. We were set up for express checkout but never got our envelope. Only problem I had w/ them was trying to find urgent care places. I had a sinus infection and needed some drugs bad on Tuesday. Only place they could point me was to CentraCare, which did not take my insurance (didn't know this when I was asking aobut the place). They could not give me names of any others, and when I asked to use the phone book, they looked at me like I had 2 heads! Guess they didn't understand why I didn't want to go to CentraCare since it was so close and they would pick me up. Well, I had my own car, and I wanted choices in case one didn't take my insurance. When I called my insurance co before going, thye said no on the CentraCAre, and I couldn't find anything w/ a zip code on it for them to find another place, so I just went there. At least Walgreens was across the street, who did take my insurance! Oh, well, not everything can be perfect, i guess.
I liked Pop very much and would not hesitate to stay here again.
