Does anyone know how big (or should I say small) the fridges are? Are they the dorm sized ones?

I've posted this before on other threads, but it looks like it would fit in here too. DH and I took our children to Atlantis a few years ago and didn't want to spend a fortune on breakfast there. (Everything is really expensive, and the kids are really early risers anyway, so it made sense to eat in the room.)

I got one of the smallest rubbermaid buckets and filled it with breakfast bars, fruit cups, and individual cereal servings. It was perfect and fit right into one of our suitcases. When we left, we used the bucket for breakable souveniers we bought so they could fly home safely!

Yes they were at Pop last week and they are black!!

Cari, that's a really good idea! I usually put my hairspray and stuff in those little plastic bins with the handles (the ones that look like mini versions of the laundry baskets). It keeps it from getting squished. I put it in a zip lock first though just in case.

I can't wait to stay at POP!

I was reading thru a couple of travel guides at Barnes & Noble while enjoying an iced white-chocolate mocha and read that some of the Illumination fireworks can be seen from POP? Is this correct?

If you ask for an Illuminations view, you can see some of the higher fireworks. We stayed on the 4th floor of building C in the 50s and could see them.

As for adding a ticker, go to tickerfactory.com and follow the directions. They will give you the code that needs to be pasted in your signature.

Hello everyone -

I just got back from PC last night. I had a great time!

I've been reading this thread for months, but can't remember reading anything about the second phase of PC. I walked as far as I could on the Generation Gap bridge and saw the two new buildings, but it didn't look like anything was going on over there. I didn't see any work in progress, nor did it I see any signs of any work having been done at all lately. Have they stopping building over there? It looks a bit like a ghost town.

I believe they stopped working on after 9/11. I think the bookings dropped off so they moth-balled them.

Wow, that's odd. They seem to have a lot into them already. The registration building even has the years out front. I wonder if the interiors are built yet. It just seems like they invested a lot and now just let them sit.

There is a couple of threads about the Legendary Years on the other side of the lake. One even has a link to a movie. They are not finished inside at all. Not are the outsides. therei s some neat pictures and links. If i find any of them I'll post it for you, but you can search for Pop Legendary years and you should find them.

I'm back and we had a really wonderful time. 1/2 gallon of milk at the food court was 2.99. They only had small individual sized cereals and I think they were $1.89.

I ordered a few individual bowls of cereal from www.minimus.biz and other snacks like pringles, chips, nuts, granola bars and a few personal care items. They have free shipping for orders over $20. The box was waiting for me at the check in desk when I got there.

I also ordered 3 cases of water from Staples. It was $6.79 per case of 24 bottles plus $7.95 for shipping. One of the cases was broken so the resort refused it but Staples delivered a new case the next day and the resort left me a phone message that it had arrived.

Pop is in the AK area. It says AK in big letters but should say Pop in small letters under that.

For those of you who send a box ahead to the resort, how far in advance do you do this? Has anyone had trouble getting their package?
