I got one of the smallest rubbermaid buckets and filled it with breakfast bars, fruit cups, and individual cereal servings. It was perfect and fit right into one of our suitcases. When we left, we used the bucket for breakable souveniers we bought so they could fly home safely!

What an great idea! I just might have to do this when we go in September! Thanks!:goodvibes

We were arriving on a Sunday and I ordered from Amazon on Monday. It got there by Thursday and it was waiting for us when we checked in. I actually forgot about it until the CM at check-in handed it to me. I would probably advise ordering a little earlier than I did. I think they will hold it for up to two weeks.

I always pack snacks and cereal in the big disney bag you can get in the shops and use that as my carry-on bag. I store it overhead on the plane and thats it. Everyone has their favorite snack for the trip!!!

I got through the first 50 pages or so..

Does anyone have pics of the rooms or the mugs to share?

TIA

Yes they are. This will be are first time staying at Pop but all the girls that we will be having a party with have had them in the past at Pop.

What exactly does one taste like??? Anyone have any ideas how much they cost? Thanks!

Just got back from POP last week. I won't go back. I know it's a value but I would rather spend the little extra for a moderate one. WE stayed at what was Dixie Landings in 98 and loved it. I never remembered it being that loud or just cheap feeling. WE had to go back over our room a few days because food that my DD had dropped on the floor hadn't been picked up. The food got REALLY boring at the food court and it was a MAD house if you caught it at certain times. I just wasn't very impressed. I will stay somewhere else next time. We had 2 crying babies on either side of us and they were loud. I could everthing in the next room. The mugs were 12 bucks a piece and were tiny compared to the ones we got in 98. It seemed VERY crowded and I have a 5 yr old myself but kids running around not monitored or parents even around drives me NUTS!! I just wasn't impressed. It was stressful to even try to relax in my room. This of course is just my opinion!! I hope others have better experiences.

The mugs are $12 at all WDW resorts and are all the same size. If you don't like the food at your particular resort, any other restaurant is just a free bus ride away. The moderates are not just a little bit more $'s than a value. More like 40% higher priced or more. If you're money situation is such that the higher prices aren't an issue then you should by all means stay at a moderate or deluxe. Values aren't for everyone. We stayed at one last year and had a great time. We spend very little time at our hotel so spending more $'s for a moderate would not make sense.

I heard people say that the coolest the rooms go is somewhere in the high 60s & I was wondering if there's a certain way to make the tempt. lower? I've seen a post a long time ago somewhere where someone mentioned a way to do it by holding down a certain button. :confused3

Hmm. I don't know about that one. I'm sure it's true I've just never had a problem with it. It feels cooler than the high 60s to me. :confused3
