Right. I know I can't get a King bed. I have a double room booked. I just want to know if it's doable to have the girls sleep on the floor so my DH and I can each take a bed.

Ahhh, two sleeping bags would work ~ it'd be tight though. I went with two friends in May. They each slept in a double bed and I used a blow-up mattress. One thing to note: it got very cold down there on the floor. I'm hot blooded but I was freezing down there. I had to steal their bedspreads which I hate to use to go along with my light weight blanket.

Confirmed, we will be at POP Oct. 13-20! Just got the code, and DIDNT have to switch resorts for once!

Just booked today! It will be our first time staying at POP and I'm looking forward to it! Any other Mobile area DISer's going during Mardi Gras?:jester:

So can we get a King room with two adults and one child? (age 4) We wanted to bring an air mattress too. Thanks! :)

I don't know why this always happens to me with the Disney visa, but I noticed on the budget board there was a new promotion going for value resorts this fall for as low as $49 a night. For some reason I always fail to receive these notices in the mail and email. But I called a had the discount applied to my existing reservation and we saved almost $500! WOW! Thanks DISer's!

xdessedinlove...

I checked the disneyworld website and saw the special offers, I called disney since that was who I booked through and asked if they could check to see if we were eligible. Some people were lucky enough to get something mailed to them with a promo code. Anyway, she just checked our reservation and applied the disc. YEAH! Still doing the happy dance :woohoo: GOOD LUCK!

Welcome to the DIS!

I'm sorry, but you cannot. Regulations require that unless the 3rd person is an infant, there must be a bed for them to sleep on. So King rooms are only for parties of 1, 2, 1+infant, or 2+infant.

Welcome to the Disboards!

Happy planning, I hope your trip is magical! :wizard:

I just want to say a big THANK you to these boards. I was booked at ASM, but have since (two minutes ago) changed to POP, b/c of the buses.

I have a 2 and a 4 yr old and DO NOT feel like standing on a bus to get to our destination.

THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFO PEEPS!!  :flower3:

My daughter will be 14 next year. She loved the POP 5 years ago wants to stay there again. Would there still be older kids around or should we consider the AS Movies or something ( looks like the pools are slightly deeper there as well). We did the Caribean Beach 3 years ago and I was not impresse, actually perferred the POP.

There is still standing on Pop buses. if you are going or coming back at busy times, they load the buses till it's full, whihc means the aisle has standers. My DD thought it was fun to stand. Silly her! You can wait for the next bus though if you would like.

I am trying to decide which requests to put on my reservation. What we want is a little different than most people. We will have a car and we want as quiet a spot as possible. Also, all of the adults were teens in the 80's.

I was looking at the 80's section, Roger Rabbit building. I like the look of the leg that shoots out west toward the lake on the side by the parking lot.

Am I crazy? Is that area totally inconvienent? We want to be close to parking but don't need to be close to Classic Hall or the Hippy Dippy pool or the bus stop.

Is it more convienent to ask for ground floor to avoid having to head up the stairs/elevator?

Shannon

Does anyone know for sure if you can use a Quick/Counter Service credit on the Disney Dining Plan to pick-up a pizza at the Pop food court?

I know you can use 2 adult Table Service to have one delivered, but I'm willing to do the walking myself if that will only take a Quick/Counter Service credit.

2 more weeks!

I'd love to know this too!

I am here now!!!!
We requested the Illuminations view, specifically rooms 2450-2460, as shown in post 1. We got 2458! The problem is a tree blocks the view from our window, but just a few steps down is the view of EPCOT and I can also see TOT.
It is sooooo quiet here! The bowling pin pool is on the other side of the building. There is also a parking lot within view. I like this area a lot, except for what seems like a longer walk after a long day in Disney.
I faxed my request 7 days prior to our arrival.
Good luck!

Seeing as you are there now............

Anything noteworthy going on across the lake at the Legendary Years?
