This might be a wierd question, but we have two kids and we are going to rent toddler beds fro themt o sleep in as they are kickers and movers and are terrible to sleep with. I know the front page says that a twin bed will not fit in between the two doubles, but will a toddler bed, anyone try this or know? And if it doesn't, would there be room for 2 toddlers beds in a king room?

Not sure about the toddler beds. However, my hubby and I are going at the end of this month with our two kids. One adult size and one child sized. The child size is a big time kicker. Since my hubby and I are not small we don't do well in a double together. So, we have bought two cots that are about 2 feet wide, and 6 feet long. We figure we can fit them in the room somehow.

If it helps...just got back from Pop and my nephew slept in a pack and play (supplied by Pop but said Graco on it) which just fit between the two double beds, with barely an inch to spare on each side. If you compare the size/width of your cots/toddler beds to a standard pack and play that might help.

Secret please!!! What is the magic address??

I followed the instructions on this thread, using the 1050 Century Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 address. The website says it doesn't "recognize" the address, but the customer service rep said to just click the "use this address" button instead of the "edit this address" button. I had her put in the address and she said it was just fine. Below is exactly what I put in each field in the shipping address. (names have been changed to protect the innocent!)

First Name: Guest Joe
Last Name: Smith 05/07/08
Company Name: c/o Disney Pop Century Resort (no room for "front desk")
Address 1: hold for guest arrival 05/07/08
Address 2: 1050 Century Drive
City: Lake Buena Vista
State: FL
Zip: 32830
Phone: 407-938-4000
Email: (left blank)

It looked a bit weird initially, but after I clicked "use this address" it looked completely normal on the next page. Now let's pray that it arrives!

How difficult is it to borrow a luggage cart? Are they usually in use by ME or bell services? I'm shipping a box, having some water delivered, AND my empty "Owners Locker" tub will be there. along with carry-ons, it'll be too much to carry.

TIA

My experience has been (with ASMo)...when you check in you can ask for assisntance at the bell hop with your luggage, they will be happy to bring it for you however you may have to wait a few minutes as the do get busy, they will tag your luggage and you can go ahead to your room ( i have never waited more than 15 min) for my luggage just enough time to check mattresses and help the kids into their pool clothes (normally in the carry on) I am sure that its the same at all resorts....and the do have serveral luggage carts and several bell hop cast memebers.:cool1:

There are no bell services/bellhops at Pop. ( I thought this was tru of all values as well) They do have carts you can use. If you REALLY need help, they will call someon to help you, but there is no official bell services. We found the carts down pon the far end of the lobby, near where ME drops off the guests.

There are NO cots/rollaways at pop either. I have heard in a few rare cases where one was brought in. I beleive htese are brought in from another resort for rare incidences. Like they are over booked and only have King room available. But you cannont request one. Remember too that the beds are not movable. They are attached to the floor, so what you put in there has to fit. Airmatress will smash in between the beds if they are too wide. Pack and plays fit, but I don't see how you could fit more than 1 in there. I'm sure it could be done if yo utried, but there would be no walking room.

We received a pin code earlier this week and it made it so we could afford an upgrade to Wilderness Lodge for not that much more money for our July stay.

Thank you to everyone for all the information and help in planning our stay at Pop...I've been planning since the fall so I've spend a good amount of time here!

When I neede a cart or something to my room I either called or went to luggage they always helped and I always tipped !! To me it was worth a couple of dollars!!

Thanks! If someone is there and they're not busy, I might have them bring it all to room. If no one is there ~ that's ok. I just don't want to carry a 30# box plus a case of pop and a case of water to my room.

I just need the wheels, baby! ;)

Sorry if this has already been asked & answered, but has anyone paid & used the internet at PC? I know the cost per day, just curious how good the connection was. I leave for my solo trip tomorrow & was thinking about taking my laptop. I know I will not want the dial up connection. Thanks for any input!

it is 9.99 a day normal I take mine everyday and hook up to it as late at possible that way you don't waste your time or money on it.

Do you use the dial up or the wired internet?

I normally do not charge to the room, so do I need to leave a card on file at the front desk?

I really do appreciate your help!

I wonder if I could pick all your brains for a minute. For those of you who have toddlers, or have traveled with them, has anyone tried to use the Aerobed for Kids in a Pop room?

DS3 is much too big for a pack n play crib. I have requested bed rails for one of the beds, but he sleeps like a fish out of water! Don't know who he got that from! ;)

At any rate, I know most likely, he'd end up picking me or DH to sleep with, and I'm not sure how well this is going to work. He's very good about sleeping in his toddler bed at home so I don't want to go backwards on vacation, KWIM?

Anyway, here's a link to it as well, perhaps some of you experts could take a look and tell me if you think it's worth it. It seems to have excellent reviews.

Aerobed for Kids

Sorry if this has already been addressed, the search function isn't working for me. :goodvibes

I don't know about the aerobed, but are facing the same thing with our DS, we are renting a toddler bed from A baby's best friend. I think it is 78 bucks for a week. I hear that a pack and play will fit in between the beds, so i think a toddler bed will as well, they are about the same width.
