I know, can't wait for our upcoming trip, not that we need the privacy curtain, but looking foward to the new rooms!

Hello there:wave2: we are going to be staying at POP for the first time in Sept 2011. Seems like we are going to have a great time. I think my DD will have a blast. That is once she figures out that we going to Disneyworld! It's gonna be a suprise, and I hope it makes her flip:cheer2:

Another question - does anyone know if they sell those styrofoam coolers at the resort? Since we're flying we can't bring a cooler, and not sure if we'll have room to pack a soft sided one to keep in the room.

We are getting one from gardengrocer.com
They are $6, but you have to order $40 worth of stuff to qualify for the $12 delivery. Get some milk, juice, case of water, cookies, apples, pretzels, diapers (if you have a little one)........you can hit $40 real fast.

Travel docs came in the mail yesterday and I check in 3 weeks from today. Looking at them all day long won't get me there sooner. I even filled out the luggage tags already.

I booked October 27th and I am leaving in 11 days....I haven't recieved my travel docs yet. I was wondering if they still sent those out??? I have been checking my mail every day!! I want mine too!!!

Did you go through a Travel Agent? If so, then they may be holding the documents.

If not, call Disney, and they will re-send.

We were contemplating having a delivery by them for milk/juice/yogurt and other breakfast goodies since we're on the dining plan. But since we're staying 10 nights, we'd probably have to have 2 deliveries (one halfway through the trip)...so I don't know, is it worth paying a $24 delivery fee instead of just buying the stuff in the little store at the hotel?

I booked my trip on 10/20 so you may want to give them a call if you booked thru Disney.

I will wait and see if it comes Monday, then if not I will call Disney. It is so exciting getting your travel docs!!!

I've never been to pop, but I have heard that if not, you can get one delivered from the garden grocer. I believe I saw it on the first page of this thread.

That's what we're doing. I think the coolers run around $6 or so. We ordered food from them last time and thought it was great. We had a fridge then, so the cooler will be interesting.

Thanks for sharing the info on a styro cooler from Gardengrocer! One more thing crossed off the list.

what kind of stuff can you get for breakfast at pop food court? is one meal
( 1 QS credit) big enough for 2 people?

how much is a small container of yogurt? I was thinking of doing a small garden grocer order of water and breakfast items. do they have toasters for your own use at pop? what about individual packets of peanut butter, jam, cream cheese etc? I'm not going to have a fridge, but was thinking of ordering a small cooler from garden grocer and maybe getting some bagels and such, if pop has individual packets of cream cheese available for a small price?

If I were to buy milk or yogurt how long do you think that will keep in a cooler if I change the ice everyday?

this is EXACTLY what I'm wondering too. So I'll be watching for the answer to this as well. :)

Okay I will try to help !!!For 1 snack credit you can get a bowl of cereal and a small milk , also they have various muffins, danishes , yoghurtgranola, bowls of fruit all for 1 s.c. each !!! The breakfasts might be sharable as you get 2 drinks with it so could get 2 juices !!1/2 gallon of milk is $2.99 , which is the same as GG !! However Yoplait Yoghurt is cheaper thru GG and also bananas !!GG also has indiv. packages of cereal I think they have different amounts but the prices weren't too outrageous !! Pop Foodcourt has a toaster you can use , I know they have creamchees in the coolers in the back section BUT I think you have to buy a bagel to get them !! Hope someone else can fill in my blanks !!

You could try the cooler/ice thing at home this week. That should give you a good idea if it will work for you.

Anyone hear updates on Building 2 referb?

We requested Building 2, but I didn't pack my privacy curtain if they didn't get referbished yet.

One quick service breakfast is big enough for two people, no doubt. The french toast is good! You can get a breakfast and a dessert (muffin, cupcake, danish, fruit) and one drink. We'd get a bottle drink and then use our mugs, saving the drink for later in the day (to keep from buying an expensive drink in the park).
I'm not sure about the jam/pb/cream cheese. I didn't really use any of that. They have it, I'm just not sure how much it costs.

What you're thinking is sort of close to what we do, but we bring the bagels with us. We buy a couple of bags of mini bagels and a jar of peanut butter and pack them. We supplement the spreads with the free jam condiments from the food court. We don't toast the bagels, but they serve as our breakfast (family of 3) for the week. We also may use a dining plan snack credit on a bottle of milk or two, and the bottle will stay chilled in a bucket of ice for the day. We do tend to finish the milk within two days though.
