Hi I just read an earlier post about someone getting Mickey mail. Just curious about it. I made my reservations through Disney. It's my first time. Will they send me information about our Magical Express and our reservation confirmation and anything else I need to know about our trip we planned at Pop Century? Thanks!

Hiya!:wave2: you should receive DME packet 30 ish days out from your holiday and the packet from WDTC a few weeks after you pay for it also about 30ish days out from your trip! If you are close and have not received anything yet I would give them a ring. Have a fabulous holiday! :yay:

Does anyone want a fridge? It's available now until Aug. 6th.

I have to get it out of LS. I've had a few swappers sign up for 2 fridges and didn't realize until they arrived. It's been sitting in LS since July 9th.

Please PM or post on the thread in my signature.

I've narrowed down our resort choice to Pop Century or All Star Movies for 2012. To help with the choice, can you please answer some questions?

1. To confirm, does Pop have sink area privacy curtains in every room, including standard rooms?

2. I know movies are not shown, but are there other pool activities (bingo games, trivia games, etc.) offered?

3. Do you think that Generation Gap Bridge (perhap it'll get a new name?) will open when AoA opens so guests can walk to/from each resort? Will AoA be a sister resort to Pop?

Thank you!

1. Yes they do have them in every room.

2. The do have activites and movies at all of the All star resorts. It use to just be the music but that changed in May all 3 now have them. Pop has none of this.

3. Not sure.

I have seen references to the "Key West" omelet. I am so curious.... what is in it??? TIA

Okay so the Key West Omelet is still my favorite. It has sliced turkey, spinach leaves, bacon bits and swiss cheese with a garnish of guacamole on top. You can ask for it on the side or without it if you want just let them know as you place your order. Total with tax included was $7.45. YUMMY!

I started a list also. I have been crossing stuff off as I get it and adding more. :)

Does anyone know the price of the cactures they do in the lobby or where I can find a price list? I'm not even sure I spelled that one right. LOL The girls are getting hairwraps for sure. I have always wanted to have this done so it seems like this year would be a good time to do it.

The hours posted are 6-11PM but i was there at 1:20 pm and the guy was there doing them. The face only is black and white $15 color $20. The face & body is black and white $20 and color $30.

Reading up on Hidden Mickey's over here.

Are there any at Pop? I just wanted to show my kids a few when we arrive so they get the idea for the following day. Thanks!

If you stand by the center cash register in the food court and start walking in toward the grab and go section you will see a hidden mickey on the floor.

DS got one done when we stayed at the WL. It was a lot of fun maybe the two of us will get it done together. Does anyone know the charge for 2 people?

We were at the Pop July 1st to 13th
didn't see any big tours groups at the Resort :worship:
But we sure saw them in the Parks and they
were big groups. :sad2:
75 to 100 in a group every park everyday. :scared1:
And not just one group numerous groups!!

I had never in all my years seen so many
groups of that size and I hope to never again. :headache:

DBF is all about this, without the guac!! I know what he is eating now!! Thanks so much for the info!!:worship:

Are they doing construction across the lake from Pop for the Art of Animation Resort? Has anyone noticed this to be a problem? Noise or views of it?

How busy is the laundry areas at Pop, is there a better time of day, I was hoping to throw a load or two in while DH and DD play in the pool :) Thanks!

We are at 51 days today and I'm starting to pack :rotfl2:

We did our laundry near the lobby near Petals. We did it late at night, had some trouble getting quarters, but there were 3 of us in there.

This is what it was like a couple of weeks ago.

We were on the lake side of the Tramp building. We could hear it a little, but it was so far away that it wasn't loud. There was some banging here and there, but nothing we could hear when we were inside the room.

Thanks for all the "Laundry" replies! I think I will try late one night when we get back from the parks. I can't imagin wasting precious morning time doing laundry, rather be at the parks! I will bring my own quaters, so no machine worries there! I'm gonna try those purex all in 1 sheets today to make sure DD nor I have an allergy to them, if not we will bring those!:thumbsup2 I figure 2 loads will get us through 8/9 days:goodvibes
