Hi Guys....phew...sorry I've been MIA but serious case of "life gets in the way".
Beth...I had to laugh when you asked how I manage to squeeze training, etc in to my day. I had a mini freak out this afternoon. Just too many things and not enough hours. I feel like a hamster on a wheel sometimes. After the 9 miler LR on sunday, I taught two tough classes on my Monday "rest" day

, the runs are tough this week (body is revolting against me a bit) and I have had 4 Doctor appointments (between me and the kids) plus their activities, and all the classes I'm teaching (too many...all of which I travel nearly 30 minutes each way for), and babysitting for my friends toddler ALL DAY tomorrow before going back out to teach again. Ugh. I put 300 miles on my darn car in 3 days

. I'm kind of fried today. So....apparently I'm not the one to look towards for *any* organizational inspiration.

Marathon training itself is just about a part time job once you get halfway through. The runs and XT just take up a ton of time. I love it...wouldn't trade it for the world. BUT it does make scheduling my volunteer responsibilities, kids multiple activities and general household chores a little trickier. I did learn the mom's most important word this year...NO. I gave up chairing some committees at school (bad PTA mom that I am

). But I did retain a committee position and of course my never-ending Girl Scout Leader position LOL. I find myself on this perpetual running late/stress mode. Hopefully I'll learn to organize myself eventually. Of course...39 years and I still haven't figured it out LOL!

So....I feel your pain sister! Just hang in there

. Bet ya' didn't expect a mini-rant/whine-fest from me LOL.
Oh yes...training update! Ummm....Taught/Participated in two tough Pilates classes on Monday. It's supposed to be my rest day

. Oh well....hopefully the old body can hold up under the new schedule! On Tuesday I ran my 6 miles and took a Pilates Reformer class! The 6 miles were on the treadmill set at a pretty comfy 10 mpm. All in all it was a decent run...but the body feels a bit beat up today. I did 30 on the ski machine this afternoon and I plan to run through a quick pilates workout here in a few minutes. Tomorrow is my scheduled 4 Mile Tempo Run and I will be teaching a class tomorrow night

.
I'm noticing lots of little aches and pains this week. I'd imagine that the increased mileage and lack of walk breaks might be beating up my body a bit. And I suppose the 6 hours of pilates last week might have something to do with it too LOL! Hopefully the icing and advil will keep all the injuries at bay!
Thanks to everyone for stopping by! I'll try to hit the journals tonight after my workout!!!! I appreciate the support!!!!
