Okay folks I'm doing the last of our vacation shopping even though we don't go until December, but I need to know your final answer:

1. Bodyglide (people on Amazon say it's too wet? )
2. Monistat Anti-Chafe (can you put this on your feet?)
3. something else?

I bought the Bodyglide stick and I am not totally convinced on how good it is. Maybe I am using it wrong?? If anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate them. I actually plan on buying the Monistat anti-chafe to see if that helps better, especially for inner thigh chafing.

I am not sure if helps you out (sorry) but it is my personal observation.

So I finally found sneakers (tennis shoes, if you prefer) that are comfortable and supportive! Why does it have to be so hard?! Loving my new Easy Spirits.
Now to finding the same in bras.... The girls are jealous of the feets!

Try Lane Bryant. I love their balconette bras. This is the only bra I've found that keeps them up, seperated, doesn't have an underwire that digs anywhere or chafe and is super comfortable. I'm a 40DDD and never had good luck finding bras until I tried there. I'm not quite pooh size on the bottom but carry all my weight in my pooh sized top. I'm also short-bodied so most of the time I have to wear it with the straps at the shortest.

My next challenge is finding a new bathing suit for my ill-proportioned body. Let me tell you finding a supportive halter tie bathing suit top that fits then trying to find a bottom that matches not plus sized is next to impossible.

Good luck! Finding the right bra is almost as good as going to WDW! Almost!

I just had this mental image of my feet covered in goop and then me sticking them in my $100 New Balance shoes But I haven't seen that in Walmart, I'll have to keep an eye out for it next time I go. I think we might end up buying both just to see which works better at this point.

Ick, I was thinking the same vaseline feet.....

I bought my bodyglide at Dicks. I don't they sell it at WalMart, but I have seen the Dr Scholls stick and Monistat anti-chafing.

I'm also short-bodied so most of the time I have to wear it with the straps at the shortest.

You are the first person other than myself that I have heard say this!!!!

(I actually have to make the straps shorter than they are supposed to go)

Does anyone here with plantar fasciitis have any experience using arch bandages? Do they work the same as taping your feet? This is a new development and I don't want it to ruin my very first trip to WDW, in 8 sleeps (if you count tonight, but I don't because...well.... LOL)

I don't know whether it's the same thing but I have an arch support that wraps around my foot. It's elasticated and fastens with velcro. I'm an nurse, so I'm on my feet for around 10 hours a day and since I've been using this support i've noticed a huge improvement. I've never taped my foot so I can't comment on that. The only problem b with the arch support is sometimes it's difficult getting shoes on when I'm wearing it.

I'm a 26/28 in most other brands, but with Old Navy, I'm a 22 or 24 and 2X. I bought a pair of khakis for my old job and they were incredibly big, more like a 32 than a 28. Definitely read the reviews for the products you're interested in, and keep in mind that you might need to send it back and get another size. Aside from the sizing issue, I have no problem with their clothes

I had a similar experience with Kohl's.....I'm normally a 24, but I actually found Kohl's size 24 are too big...much too big LOL as you can imagine, I'm feeling quite good sitting here in my size 20 jean shorts

Which brings me to a question of my own.....I live in jean shorts, it's all I wear ever, except one pair of khaki capris.....Am I really going to sweat to death? Should I break out the old cotton gym shorts from Just My Size? Thanks

Im pretty comfy in my jean shorts. I do like my cotton shorts, but sometimes feel like they stretch out of shape. Also, I like my pockets in my jean shorts. I wear mine pretty loose though. HTH

I just picked up a pair of Easy Spirit sandals on sale w/a coupon that I have been looking at for awhile. Hopefully those help out. I have some Easy Spirit sneakers that are really comfortable but I also wanted a pair of sandals because Florida is so hot and sometimes my feet just need to breathe.
