The rain is over here now. I don't remember ever getting rain this early. At least the temps have dropped into the 90's.

Tuesday is my favorite TV night. I watch Sons of Anarchy and then Glee.

My husband lets me control the TV but he refuses to sit through another episode of Raising Hope. He suffered through the first one but less than 10 minutes into the second episode, he called in his marker and told me no more on that one.

I watch Dancing on Mondays but I never watch vote off episodes.

Hi all...Hope everyone is getting through hump day OK...

Quick update...DH has to have a CAT Scan and full blood workup. Dr thinks the problem is a deep sinus problem. He has a history of sinus infections, so we need the CAT to find out for sure. He is also on sick leave from work. Thank the stars he has 87hrs of sick time banked. So I am still frantic trying to get everything scheduled. They also gave him something for the headaches.

My MIL is scheduled for gall bladder removal( we joke that we are now alike..LOL). Its full of risk as she has a history of liver problems too..but that will be over by Friday..

I missed work yesterday, my job does not give me time off, so I need to make up my time this weekend..I am drained..mentally at least. I am just tired of this and want a normal life again, where nothing exciting happens..LOL

So keep me and my family in your thoughts...I need all the help I can get!

So sorry you have been going thru so much between your DH and DMIL. Hope everything goes well for yur DMIL's surgery and the testing for your DH. On top of all this you have no paid time off for sick time?? Unbelievable. I'll definitely keep you all in my thoughts and prayers

Dax I am so very sorry for what you are going through. I will be praying for you and your family and hope that after these tests and surgery everyone can get back to normal. Please take care of yourself as well. It's easy to neglect yourself with so much going on. Make sure you take time to have a snack and plenty of fluid, we don't want you passing out from dehydration or exhaustion. Lots of love your way!!!

Good morning to everyone. SO glad the weekend is almost here. I am mentally drained. I need a few days to lay in bed,cover my head up and wallow for a bit. Then I need to watch sad movies so I can cry and get an emotional release. I am a real bucket of sunshine today aren't I? Oh and I got my Mickey Halloween cookie jar and the kids were so excited. It is a VERY nice cookie jar and HUGE! When I opened it I couldn't believe how big it was. It is well worth the money.

Dax: I'm glad you at least have an inkling of what might be wrong with your DH. I'll send prayers & good thoughts to your & DH & MIL. And of course to you!!!

Lara: You can do it. You can get thru this. One foot in front of the other. Deep breaths. Indulge in that good cry once in awhile. Then get up, dust your self off, get back up & keep going. Sing one of my favorite songs to yourself: "I get knocked down, but I get up again. You're never gonna keep me down." You will get thru it. Yeah about the cookie jar. Keep thinking what a great vacation you will have when it's full. And when it's full, all this stress will be done. And you will have gotten thru!

Janet: How are your kids doing at school? Hope the year is going smoothly so far Youd DS is in college, right? Does he live home or dorm?

Faith your trip is this weekend, right? Have a wonderful, relaxing time!

Morning all. Yes, I leave Saturday morning for WDW. Coming from west coast, it's an all day trip. I am staying the first night at Pop and then transferring to Beach Club for the week.

I'm also in the midst of planning a family trip for my daughter in law in May. She lives here in California but all of her family lives in the midwest and she doesn't get to see them often. Since I have more DVC points than we can possibly use, I booked studio villas at BCV for all of her family and I'm helping with their meal reservations, etc. My family has been so many times that Disney trips are no big deal so it's fun working on one where the people are actually excited to go.

Dax, I'm keeping you in my thoughts. I hope things get better soon.

Dax - I'm glad to hear that the doctors think they have the answer to you DH's problems. I hope the meds are helping his headaches, too. That is great that he has so much sick time accrued. And I hope your MIL's surgery goes smoothly and she recovers quickly! It sucks that you have to make up for your missed time. As if you don't have enough on your plate. And isn't it wonderful dealing with insurance companies?

lara - I'm sorry that you're feeling so down. When I read Sandee's advice and encouraging words, I knew you would be lifted up! What a wonderful friend!

Morning my Ev-No buddies!!!

I am OK...not better, but OK...DH is driving me nuts...he is pushing to have his bloodwork done, thinking once the bloodwork is done he will magically be able to go back to work..

Now mind you...he HATES HATES HATES his job...moans about it ALL the time...well yesterday he tells me he is "running out of time" to get this stuff(tests) done...I ask how...he has only been home for all of 3 days....He is bored, and frustrated..he cant do ANYTHING without being exhausted. I tried to be calm and explain if he feels overly tired from standing outside with the dogs and making dinner...how is he gonna be able to stock shelves as work? Silly man.

Then to top it off...they have screwed up his paycheck, shorted him almost $100!!! Now we need to get THAT fixed too...

Seriously want a day at the spa or something...I have had enough.
