The Everything and Nothing Thread

Hello!

This thread is a place where friends can come together and chat. About everything. And nothing. There has been some talk among some DISers who would like a thread to come and talk, so I am starting it right here!

A place to check in with other Disney loving people everyday and see what's going on! A place to chat in-between trips and help each other countdown until the next trip.

We can keep each other up to date on everything Disney, and anything else! We can talk about our families, work, shopping, TV shows (especially reality TV!), etc. So come on in and make yourself at home and invite others!

Well I am here and I am friendly.

We have talked about this for forever so I for one am certainly happy about it finally coming to fruition.

My "everything" post of today is that I am wading thru laundry from three weeks of vacation for four people and the dog's too--(DH thankfully does his own!).

My "nothing" post is that I curled my hair today for the first time in ages and um,,,,,,, well.... I think I've got a Farrah Fawcett 'do.

OK, I'd like to join in. I'm not in any of the other "click" type threads. But I'd like some place to talk & not feel like an outsider!

I'm planning a trip in Sept. with DH, DD & DSIL. Most plans made, just a few little tweaks left. I can't wait! Love Sept coz I'll be in Disney, but sad coz summer will be over!

There are no outsiders on the Nothing thread. It's about nothing so no one can be an outsider.

I'm in! Although I visit the Disboards alot I'm not a very frequent poster. I guess I'm more a lurker! But I have come to know a few people on here and have "met" some very nice friends!

I do love Disney, but I'm not someone who goes every year; of course, I would love to go more than I do! My last trip was in 2006, the year my DD graduated from college and my DS graduated from high school. So, yes, I am a baby boomer Dis'er. I was hoping to be planning a trip in the near future with my DH and DBIL and DSIL and their 2 children. But family issues too complicated to get into here have postponed that trip. But I haven't given up on them yet!

Thanks Momof2Disneyboys for starting this thread (or co-starting) and inviting me over. I usually think I don't have much to say, but it seems like when I PM a certain Dis-friend that I go on and on too much! So we'll see how much I have to add to this new thread. But I am looking forward to joining in!

P.S. To focusondisney: you won't be the only "outsider" - I'm not a regular on any other threads, either.

OK, I'm in!

My everything topic is that DD is leaving Thursday night for about 10 days to assist with animal upkeep at an agricultural fair. This will be her first paid gig outside of babysitting. She never really did sleep overs with her friends until this year so this will be a LOOOOONNNNGGGGGG time for me to be without her. Wonder how I'll do!?! I'm excited for her, though. I think this will be a great experience for her.

My nothing topic is I have outdoor bootcamp tonight and it's nearly 90 degrees outside! I hope it cools down before then.
