Not much planned here today...just spending the day with DD19, DD16, and DD8. I do have a hair appointment later this afternoon.

I'm sure I had a dream last night but it's been wiped from my mind from the moment I read about Slash on the beach in leather pants.

Sorry about the migraine. I had part of my lung removed 3 weeks ago (the diabolical breast cancer returned) and I know all about feeling bad. I hope you have something to make it go away. I can't think of anything that would be more painful than a migraine.

Lala - YAY on the shopping! A purse and back to school clothes! I usually start the boys back to school shopping about the first week of August. That's when the sales seem to start around here.

Jane & Autumn - My you ladies were chatty last night!!

Dax - I'm sorry you are suffering with a migraine today. They are the worst. I get them several times a month and it is miserable. Sometimes an Excedrin and a Mtn. Dew will help me. Caffeine!


Hope everyone is having a great day! DS8 lost his favorite Star Wars lego dude and we are turning the house upside down looking for the dang thing! Guess that's my nothing for the day. Or maybe it should be my everything, it sure is everything to him!!

Nothing to take for the migraines...havent for over a year...since I lost my health benefits, and I do not have them with the new job...so its a lot of just dealing with it and Excedrin Migriane..

I am feeling a tad better, tummy is upset, and still a bit light sensitive...was gonna call outta work, but no sick time, so I am toughing it out in my office in the dark...thank god my coworker doesnt mind working without lights on..LOL..

Day is almost over...done work at 2:30!

Oh, Pakey, I am so sorry about your surgery. Three weeks is very recent! You are still recovering; no doubt you know all about feeling bad.

It's nice to meet a fellow BC survivor. How long for you? Mine was in 2003 - I just passed the 7 year mark. I feel "cured", but there is always that fear of recurrence. Any time I have some little weird ache or pain that lingers, I think oh, no, it's back. But if it does, I'll just have to fix it again, like you're doing! I hope you're back to 100% very soon!

Happy Friday, Everyone!
Don't hate me because I'm beauti...uh, keeping cool. We're clear and sunny but cooler than average here today. Only going to reach the high 70s.

I dreamt I was watching a music video being filmed in New York City. The lead singer looked a lot like Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap.

Dax - so sorry to hear you've got a migraine and hope you're doing better. Add me to the list - used to get them monthly but now that the menopause fairy has recently arrived I get them more randomly. Love my Vicodin.

Pakey - Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.

I've just got to throw some food in a box before we head off to the beach, so wishing you all a wonderful weekend and see you here next week!

My migraine has gone after a lot of Excedrin and a LOT of sleep. I have a slight rebound, but otherwise OK

Nothing much going on for today...DH is working for 13hrs, and he has my car, so I am gonna veg out in the house, catch up on some TV and play some WoW...hope you all have a GREAT day

Glad you're migraine is gone. I get them once in awhile. I can't imagine working with one. I get them so seldom I don't even get a prescription med. They go away with sleep for me, so I just really need to get home to bed.


Quiet weekend here, relaxing most of the day then a quick dinner & movie.


The weather is hot & sunny, even tho they predicted rain. But the wind is driving me crazy, blowing over plants outside & blowing papers & doors around in the house!

I'm mourning the weekend too. I have to work tomorrow...bright and early. Early is hard when you work with pre-schoolers!

Hot here in PA too...the electric company is LOVING us this summer. We don't have central air (our house is 100 years old this year....not C/A compatible! LOL) so we use window units. cha ching!

We are going blueberry picking today. It's not the best day for it since it's so hot, but it's the only day we can go. My stash from last year was finished up this morning. Guess it's time to pick another years' worth!

Ahhh I LOVE napping. I'm home now and thinking of taking a pre-dinner nap before I head out again! It just feels like such a luxury.
