I believe they started out with a towing service & junk yard/salvaged car parts business. Now I believe he is an "inspirational speaker"

James Robert "Jim Bob" Duggar (born July 18, 1965) of Tontitown, Arkansas, is a former state legislator who served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He is a real estate agent, and owns several commercial properties in his local area.[1][2]

Ya know, I think the Duggar's are sort of kookie, and I'd never wear those suits myself or for my girls...but I think the suits are awesome for practicing Muslim girls and women who couldn't go to pools or the beach otherwise.

Muslim woman have some really pretty looking swimwear available.. It's not so much the amount of covering involved in the wholesome wear,but the style of it.

Did anyone actually vote on a name for the new baby? I voted, so that maybe they won't give another child a stupid name like Jinger. There's a lot of pretty "J" girl names out there; Juliette (the one I voted for), Julia, Julianne, Jane, Julie, Juliana, Jasmine, Janelle; they vetoed all of those for Jinger?! I voted Jacob for a boy.

Muslim woman have some really pretty looking swimwear available.. It's not so much the amount of covering involved in the wholesome wear,but the style of it.

I've seen websites that sell swimwear geared specifically towards Muslim women and girls and it is definitely more stylish than the stuff listed on the above site! There was even some stuff on there that I would wear. Swim-culottes, however, are NOT on my list.

I had a friend in high school who was Muslim and we *had* to take swimming in gym, no exceptions. The poor girl had to take swimming class in long pants and a long-sleeve t-shirt (she did not have Muslim-specific swimwear, so she just wore regular clothes). She did not wear her hijab in the pool, however.

I think its funny how its pronounced "Ginger" .. even Meredith on the Today show pronounced it "Jin-grrrr"

Wow this thread has turned ugly I for one don't care how many kids they have if the can afford them and aren't on goverement assistance more power to them

I have seen and read that many of the girls wanna go into nursing. The oldest boy I believe is in College he wants to work on movies in editing I believe I will have to check on that for sure

The Mennonites and Amish I think have just as many kids but I don't see anyone poking fun of there lifestyle or there choices

I wonder why none of the girls thought of being a lawyer or a contractor. Or in law enforcement? It wouldn't be because those are "traditionaly" thought to be more of a male occupation, would it?
